Monday morning the phone arrived in China to wondamobile for warranty check. I recommended to provide for the replacement (after having verified the death of the phone) and not the repair: the i65/68 index would be compromised. They replied that they will do their checks. |

No customs as the first time. And they sent back to me as "warranty" so no customs for sure.
how to add pictures? Simple: add to your drive and set "share with link"...copy link and paste here with the link function "ctrl+L" |

Thanks!

Home delivery yesterday.
After two weeks at customs, I got a letter stating that I needed to update the customs declaration because the seller's was incomplete. I had five days to provide the required information, or the shipment would be returned. I submitted the declaration immediately after receiving the letter. The missing details included the product description with name, quantity, and value. They also asked for an invoice or order confirmation and a receipt for my payment. Since the goods were valued over 10,000 SEK, I had to provide my personal identification number as well.
Eight days later, I was informed that my declaration was accepted, and I needed to pay VAT and a fee.
It´s bad timing. Too much at work. And I need at least a day to configure the phone and transfer everything from 1 VI. I don´t use Google for anything. I have everything backed up on my computer and use SMS Backup & Restore for messages and call history. DejaOffice to sync calender with Outlook 2024 and MyPhoneExplorer for contacts to sync with Outlook 2024.
I haven´t even removed the factory screen protector. That will be the first I do and mount the Spigen glass.
Maybe in a week I will start.

Glad you got your phone after all that hassle with customs!
I cannot view your photos. When you share, you have change the sharing so that anyone with the link can view the file. Otherwise, it will only allow those with specific granted access.
via the web on computer, you can do this by right clicking on the file, choosing share, then share again (do not choose "COPY LINK"). a popup will appear and at the bottom of that popup, there is an area for GENERAL ACCESS. it defaults to RESTRICTED. click on the drop down menu here and select ANYONE WITH THE LINK. Then you can copy the link and post here.
via the phone app, select the file/folder (i recommend a folder to make it easy). then under the 3 dot menu, select SHARE. at the next screen, choose the 3 dot menu again and select MANAGE ACCESS (or click the link at the bottom). Here you will see the GENERAL ACCESS stuff again and change it like above. Then copy the link and post here.
alternatively, you can simply post to some photo sharing site like IMGUR to temporarily share photos.

Thanks moogoo!
I have updated the links as per your description.
I also installed the Spigen screen protector. No air bubbles or dust, 100% match on the first try.
I don´t think I can wait until next week. Will configure the phone this weekend.
I had to paid customs $435.

Great pics!
For some reason I thought you had ordered the purple version. but the black is looking gorgeous as usual.
I think I will go for the green this time around. With any luck, I will have one in my hands sometime in august.
Couldn't come soon enough because i dropped my II the other day and now wifi connection is spotty
I am jealous of your spigen screen protectors. I need to find a source that will ship to me.
Did you get the official case?

congratulations. All those customs fees are absurd. I would say outrageous, once they were charged to compensate for what one had "saved" by buying something abroad. But now the prices are the same everywhere. The accompanying invoice is a big pain. I also had to fill one out to be able to send the phone to china for replacement, and it was stuck in customs for 2 days because it was not filled out perfectly. By the way, did you mention a pre-installed screen protector? Which one are you referring to? I didn't have one!!! |

I think by "factory screen protector" he means the plastic that's initially on the screen that always comes on phones and other devices with a screen.

Got it, the paper sticker)))
today I picked up my replacement. I didn't quite understand if it's a new phone or if they just replaced the phone's motherboard (they wrote something about it on a piece of paper, indicating the motherboard as a defect, then next to it they wrote "replacement". New imei anyway. I had applied a glass screen protector: in this one it's gone, but there's a paper sticker on the screen. Bhooo! |

That is concerning. Means it's a wider issue.
The good thing is they are acknowledging it and addressing it instead of pretending everything is fine.
