The Galaxy S6 model uses image sensors SAMSUNG ISOCELL and the Galaxy S6 Edge model uses image sensors SONY EXMOR RS and proven results obtained from each device are different !!!

Samsung use a mix of Isocell and IMX in BOTH phones.
Hence why theres reports of both S6 Edge AND S6 with Isocell and IMX.
So yes they do have the same cameras 
You can find an isocell S6 and Isocell S6 and they'll be the SAME.
The differences between the Isocell and IMX are quite small tbh.
Go to XDA and you'll see reports of BOTH the S6 and Edge using isocell AND imx sensors. So no the Edge doesn't only use Isocell, just like the normal S6 doesn't ONLY use IMX.

I still think the G4 has the best camera, plus it has RAW and shutter speed control etc. |

I do not need any information your or XDA... I am owner of devices S6 Edge, S6 Edge Plus and my mother is a unit of S6 !
So I have my hand to test the devices when, where and how I want !
Not to mention that I live in Brazil, a country where the two factories of the largest Samsung factories in the world, are located here provide more than 50% of the demands of the Americas and Europe and how I work with mobile phones, have contact with workers of these factories almost daily, so neither you nor the XDA can provide me information I did not know before.
Over 70% of Galaxy S6 sold worldwide use IMAGE SENSORS SAMSUNG, while only others remaining 30% use IMAGE SENSORS SONY !
In the case of Galaxy S6 Edge happens exactly the opposite, that is, 70% use SONY IMAGE SENSOR and only 30% use SAMSUNG IMAGE SENSORS.
The guys from DXOMARK tested the unity of the S6 Edge marketed in the UK and more than 95% of handsets sold using SONY, sensors so that one can not generalize and say that all this is the same thing because it's not true.
The model tested by DXOMARK is the S6 Edge model using SONY sensor, they never tested the S6 model is with this sensor Samsung or Sony.

Regardless of Galaxy S6 using Samsung Image Sensor and Galaxy S6 Edge use Sony Image Sensor, the best device tested by DXOMARK in the general classification is the SONY XPERIA Z5 and this is the final and indisputable point.
