That would be insane storage.+-128GB's  (always slightly less because of the partioning)

Does this affect the NFC ?

No NFC chips inside of them so yes the NFC is affected. They are the only cases I have seen for the Note 2 without NFC that I like.
If you look at the inside of the case there is a space for the NFC chip. One could take out the chip from another case and stick it in.

the only thing that stops me getting it is the fact that the stock TouchWiz seems slow, nowhere near the galaxy s2 with RR1.9 which is lightning fast
