TrackID
N82 is a SYMBIAN phone. You simply install Shazam ID that does exactly the same for free.
Full Size Wallpaper
The N82 has that as well.
Media Player
Well the player of K850 is far more attractive but is so damn slow. Just navigating through playlists is a pain. And there is no quick search for finding song. So you are not right,
Battery lifetime
No the K850 is only slightly better. But of course it is much better when 3G is disabled but who wants to do that?
LED lamp
The K850 is ONLY useful as a torch lamp. When recording video you have to put is so close to peoples faces that is is useless. The K850 will also automatically switch the LED on and use night mode when it finds it necessary. But the quality of these two combined doesn't even match the N82 standard video, which also seems to be more light sensitive.
Much better camera features
Only feature that differs is BestPic and I find it rather useless myself. I have never found the need for it even though I have had the option to use it for a long time now. And lets not forget it is practically useless indoor.
Besides the N82 has VGA video at 30 FPS which IS the killer feature and much better flash so I can't see your point.
Java based vs. Symbian
Again your lack of experience is rather obvious. The K850 IS NOT faster than the N82. And especially the camera and media player on the K850 is so absurdly slow that you have to be kidding. My main issue with the K850 and the main reason I prefer N82 is actually the abysmal speed of K850.
But the K850 has higher contrast - no doubt. But it also seems a bit artificial like when using too high contrast on a LCD television.
Try the phones yourself instead of just believing everything you read. People CAN be biased you know...

I have both phones and I prefer the N82 even though I am a longtime SE fan and haven't had a Nokia in years.
Reasons:
The camera cover on the K850 is the single worst design dessicion I have ever encountered on a high-end mobile phone from SE. Dust will get stuck inside it and you will need to wipe it clean before every use - which completely eliminates the reason for putting a cover in the first place.
It is MUCH more stable especially when it comes to the camera. No dark pictures here.
The N82 is faster. It shouldn't be but is is.
VGA video. The N82's video is absurdly superior.
TV-out on the N82 is a nice feature. It even outputs videos recorded in VGA at 640x480.
Wifi and GPS that simply works brilliant.
Powerfull stereo speakers that are not muffled when the phone lies on a soft surface (unlike k850 which you shouldn't leave in your bed if you insist on hearing it).
A proper browser.
YouTube and Skype. Not possible on K850.
The videoplayback on K850 is useless because it only supports absurdly low bitrates to avoid sync problems.
The flash of N82 is much more powerfull. The picture quality is very alike but you simply can't trust the K850 camera. It overexposes or starts the flash to late very often.
I love Nokia's micro-chargers which can actually fit in you pockets.
And unlike other Nokias, the N82 is excellent build, has great battery, great screen with excellent contrast (unlike the original N95) and the interface is fast.
SE...what the hell happened. Forgot your old core users need for features instead of pretty designs. SE is turning into Samsung and I could cry!

"SE is turning into SAMSUNG"
You couldn't be more true. N95 8Gb compared to N82 is far inferior and costs 50% more... Same they did when I bought N95. Then they released N95 8Gb and I bought one to my wife, cause of the camera. And now they release N82, far superior to any of the above mentioned... For less money... And all in less than 6 months.... And you can see the grief here when you calculate how much money is this.. Both N95 are generic.. Now the are worth sh**t here..
It is hard to be a proud owner of a NOKIA top end phone. SE might be buggy but it is much cheaper.... |

I dont think N82 "is far superior" than N95 8G. Both are about same - one with gargantum screen and one with xenon. |

trentors.. in the link that you post.. its interesting how you say the screen is better on N82 than K850. But on the pics, you can clearly see K850 is not only brighter, but also much more vivid and lively (and the text mention that too..) |

@sesukaku
Nobody claims the N82 screen is better than K850. Where did you get that?? K850 has higher contrast and more vivid colors. But I have to say it looks more artificial - but I still prefer its looks over the N82's screen. Ironic isn't it? Everybody is ditching Nokias for having to artificial and over-vivid picture quality when using the camera but nobody questions the fact that SE's screen have a tendency to do the same...
The N82 pictures does not do it justice BTW. I am sitting with both phones right now and they are displaying the same picture. And the N82 is not as bad as the biased link want you to think. |

I am not an SE fan Sometimes seems to look like it tho.. Without comparing the markets or anything, I just say my personal view. And pointing out how ridiculous sometimes is concerning the high end phones. I had and still have some Nokia high end phones and they just make me laugh now. I just bought the other day N82 for my father and just using it for a few mins. made me think again, I mind you, how big fool I am, buying two gens of N95 in less than a 6 months. It was a waste of money comparing to N82. Just my point. |

It is sad how those SE fans can't face the fact... N82 beats KE850 in every way (maybe not the battery life). Go search online and read a freaking review for once.... |
