i tried revertin back to version 1.1
n so far i havent encountered any problems yet
then i try back version 2 megabass
its ok back
i think the culprit is the fastport connector
as the problems is random
sometimes it happens
sometimes it dont
unless other ppl also got tis problem then i think its not related to the mod

i tested 1.1 on my k800i in backspeaker & headphones (hpm-70)
backspeaker(farfield_play)
quality 3/10- sounded quite horrible, cracks at max volume
loudness 9/10- very loud a tiny bit more loudness would be nice and i know the backspeaker is crap
headphones(PHF_play) bass setting, hpm-70
quality 5/10- tiny bit of cracking at max volume, also some disortion, but the sound is very well balanced.
loudness-10/10 loud enough, doesn't need to be any lounder loudness is perfect.
bass 8/10- has very nice bass,a little bit more would be nice
clearless 10/10- very very super clear sound could hear everything.
the acoustics still need bit more work, but coming along nicely u really need to work on quality. |

Sunfire is different of Xaero PHF's. Mine was based on quality of Xaero's, but its my own mod.

Don't assume that. Faurs and Sunfire are very close, but not the same.
I think you just don't have the right earphone to to note that.
Man.. if you really think that.. you can TRIM my mod from your mix.
I haven't learned all by myself, spent so many time editing and testing.. to be perfect... just for you to come here and say they are all the same.

If you knew how they lower the treble you wouldn't say that...
To be honest, my MOD was made with the intention to be better than any mod, or MIX.
So I really don't think mix are necessary with my mod.
But you can do whatever you want... if you really find necessary to have a mix.

sir, i didnt compare the files based on their file size only. i also compared them based on the time they were made.i was suprised coz they have the exact time down to the seconds. i dont mean to offend anybody. i just made that comparison because i only noticed a very small (or sometimes non all) differences on the sounds that i hear from them. as stated in #2, it was just your PHF_play.zapf that is the same with the others. i didnt say that your mod is the same with the others. its definitely not. yes, its better.

hey pedrops, nice talking to you on MSN yesterday. I think I'm still hungover man...lol...school was sure fun today...I almost finished an assignment, which is a miracle being in this condition.
I'm going to start testing out all those betas you sent me. I hope my ears are good today.
BTW, I got my JVC FX55 in the mail today.  They're sounding OK so far. But it's too early to judge, I have to burn them in for a day or two. I hope the sound will open up. I got to say, I'm not really an IEM guy. I'll take cans over IEMs anyday
Anyways, time to get to work on those betas. |

Strange.. but sometimes my K800 just go crazy... yesterday it corrupted all my pics.. than I restarted it, and all pics were back ^^

Evaluation taken.
There's not much I can do about backspeaker.. its crap.. it only sounds descent on low volumes.
Wich headphones are you using?
Cracking is a matter or hardware, not acoustics problem... its because you have overpassed the maximum power on your earphones.
If you test it on good headphones you'll see it doesn't crack or distor 
But yeah I'm testing a lot of tiny diff to see what's the best on HPM70.
There's gonna be a especial version for us HPM users.
Other for HiFi phones

I understand you. Thats because we used the same base files So they were created on same time, but were edited at diff time. The "edit time" will not be show to you as the time it was edited by me... it will display the time the file was created on your pc...
Sometimes i have even based the file under a modded one.. but one thing is for sure... I really can't tell on wich file all of them were based.. sometimes I just overwrite them.
Yes they sound very similar to each other cause its the best settings we can get, but they have very small diff.. wich aren't noticed by us with our HPM70.
So they might sound the same... but with some hifi headphones you can hear the diff.. as I don't have one I'm basing myself on Junkemale's opinion.

BTW.. sorry that there are so many... I just tested some tiny settings... and couldn't really tell the diff on my HPM70 ^^
ah, does V1.1 crack on your headphones? not the beta
Just take your time...
the most important thing is you find one that eliminates the hissing/reverberating highs
If you find a mod that doesn't correct that, but have some good improvement on something, just point that out.

i tested on some more headphones i used a massive pair of stereo headphones and it sounded worse than my hpm-70, it's the acoustics and not my headphones cause i have no problem with w300i & eyeyousee acoutics. |

i just changed a new hpm70 today
n then i use back ur version2 megabass
sometimes when a song stops n a new song plays
there will b some silence
at those times there are some hissin sounds
some noise at there
when i revert back to version 1.1 those sounds arent there
i think version2 megabass only got those problems
or mayb its the phone itself
havin been modded so extensively
as saw on my siggie at sense

i also heard some hissing... but didn't convert back to 1.1 to see if its still there. but 1.1 is final, and this is only a beta. what do u think pete? 1.1 vs megabass? |

its ok. i understand. no harm done. just a clarification sir, when i have downloaded the files, its in the archive form or in the zip or rar files. i believe that when you download the archive files, the time when the last file was created will be the ones to be shown in the pc, not the time when you just extract the archive. if you have time, you can check it out.
im not here to debate, argue, or anything like that. we both have the same thing that we want to achive, to have the BEST and the most EFFICIENT acoustic for our beloved phone, k790, k800, k810. 
goodluck on your new mod. i know it will be a great one. one of the reason too that i wanted to mix the acoustics is because i believe, each individual has his/her own liking in sounds. some like it mellow, some like it with more bass,some like it loud, some like it very loud. hehe. with that in mind, we can give users selections or options on what acoustic they could choose. ^-^
if its ok with you, can you send me your v2 beta? id love to test it too. thanks dude.

anyone here knows if there any difference in the sound quality of the HPM-70 and HPM-82 earphones? i have already sold my HPM-70 after using it for just 4 days! i was not satisfied with the sound it gives. the stock earphones sounds better with a pair of good earbuds. thats what im using as of the moment. or anybody knows a good brand and specs of stereo earphones. thanks
