Using globe telecoms here in the Philippines, the rates are as follows:
TIME BROWSING
$0.11 or PhP15 per 15 min.
KB BROWSING
$0.003 or PhP0.15 per KiloByte

Smart Network's (Phils) standard rate for mobile internet usage, P10 per 30 minutes, that makes 20/hour..this is for prepaid users. |

There is 3 telecom companys here in Morocco : 1_ Meditel (0,08 euro to 20 min) and 2_ Wana with her pack INWI we can serf for unlimited 24h for 1,66 euro, unlimited week 5,81 euro, a month cost 14,94 euro, but now almost every body surf for free

here in Manila , for prepaid users (about 90% or more of the mobile user population), there are unlimited period-based plans. PHP 50.00 for 24 hours ( ~1 euro), PHP 300 for 7 days (~5.4 euros) & PHP 1,200 for 30 days (~21.6 euros).
There are no crazy restrictions on tethering as in the US, so you can use your mobile as a 3G modem for your laptop/netbook. With the right software & if the phone has wifi capability, you can even create a mini-hotspot. |

One catch though. I need to use a dumb phone (no smart phones), FROM my provider.

Free on my contract. PAy £8.33 a month for 900 mins, Unlimited Texts, Unlimited Internet (HSDPA/3G/GPRS/GSM). O2-UK 12 Month simplicity. Not supposed to but can tether my Elm to my PC aswell and use it as a modem without been charged. |

Aircel India charges 10p ($0.0018)/10KB for 3G and GPRS as base charge. Other than that there is a Rs. 98 ($1.75) GPRS pack with unlimited usage for a month. I haven't used any 3G pack yet. |
