Latest Opera Mini Mod, with English file explorer |

The new mod 121 is out. The menu looks impressive and the download page uses opera native window. But i am facing a problem with the download page on my W550i . I am not able to return to the browser when i switch to download page while a download is on.

Version 121 is now on my site, and it blows the rest to bits. It's not version 2 based yet but you won't care, all the hacked options(file manager, save page etc) are now in the little pop up menus and not in the phone browser anymore. Just like moby explorer! It's great.
You can now specify the size of the text field up to 1024 letters, but you can choose next when you fill that up.

i am facing this annoying problem with the download page on this 121 . pls let me know how that works on your phone. i am using W550i . i am not able to return to the browser when the download progress window is on. and none of the shortcuts work at that time. makes me wait till the download finishes. . . let me know if it works for you. what is ur phone by the way. |

I also tried to install this latest version. I also get the "invalid application" error.
This is with a w800i. |

Yes, I can return to the browser window from the download window, regardless if I actually download a file or not, so no problems in that respect on my W800i.
EDIT: When I am in the download window, and use the "save as" option, if I do not allow opera to read user data, the program will freeze on the download screen, the only way to correct it is to hold down the back key, and exit the application, and restart. Not really a problem if I awnser "yes" to the read/write user data question. I guess the program dosen't know what to do since it was denied access to user data.

My WAP browser downloads the file from rangers.ru, but when the phone attempts to install, it is still giving the "invalid application" error. 
Also let me just say that this latest hacked version is the best one yet! I love the new look of the file manager, and download screens!

I had the same problem with the Invalid Application thing. Use the link http://opera.wapland.org as supplied by Yanosh94 and it works. Well it did for me anyway.

Thanks for checking that out for me seguy, seems they've protected it from uploads or the wen.ru java uploader is not working right  As that's where i've always got it from, it's hardcoded into opera.
I've had to resort to hotlinking now which i don't like, mainly because half the time wapland is down. Right now o2 is telling me the http://opera.wapland.org/file/opera121.jar link does not exist?!?! |

Yeah, seems there's a major bug fix? Still gutted i can't upload it anymore.

Thanks for replyin. But i am not talkin about the download window that is shown before starting the download. Its the window that shows the progress bar. When i choose the hide window option, the progress window doesn't show up. But when i press 1 to check the download progress, i am not able to return back to the browser and i have to wait till the download finishes. The options options available when viewing the progress window are stop and abort softkeys . None of the shortcuts work at that point. If i press the back button on my phone, the download aborts:-(. Pls try this out on ur phone and let me know as i believe W800i and W550i work on the same java platform.

Yes now the download works on ur site. By the way can you tell me if its possible for me to sign opera mini to stop it from askin all those annoying read write permissions? |
