That looks like the flicker you get from certain lighting (usually flourescent or power saving bulbs).

Can't wait to upgrade to R1N , i'm getting a new K750i to replace my dead one so I wonder which firmware will come on it. I like the small java performance upgrade that each update brings, R1A crashed every five seconds so I don't want none of that cra8p on my new model. |

That might be.. however I think it's wierd that I've never got it before. Not even in the same room, same lightning, same object to capture. hmm.. *frustrated* |

Thanks a lot. As for me, it's my last SE. Till they correct the situation with midlets. |

what situation is that? |

max_wedge Their "JSR-75 filesystem support" is of no use for unsigned midlets with current "security model".
It means that you're not able to read books (text files) or use an alternative e-mail client and so on in a suitable manner. |

@bbsc - by "no use" you mean totally crappy and a pain in the ass, or broken?
by the former, i agree - the latter, i've not experienced. if the latter, have you posted to the developer forums at SE?

quaeler,
"pain in the ass" is the exact expression. Sorry for my poor english.
Really, you have to confirm midlets' rights every time you want to do something in the FS.
For example, for to open a text file with ReadManiac, you need to confirm it over 30 times.
For to receive one message with MailMan - about 10 times.
Is it normal?
As for the developers' forums, they are full of messages on this subject. SE answers that this is a "security model of MIDP2" |
