Not everyone thinks so. Id like to know how you came to that bizarre conclusion!

We just need to kill in moderation.

Please explain what is "killing in moderation"?

I agree wit you there...but only till yesterday. I cannot kill an insect without battling an eyelid now!

I once again repeat that i'm not trying to be a saint here!
Since yesterday, when i saw those pics, it dawned on me how insensitive we have become!

I'm sorry if i made you feel that i'm trying to force my opinion on others!

the two discussions i see are
1. cruelty to animals - this is simple, you're either agianst it or you are sick and inhuman.
2. whether its ok to kill animals for food - more complex as we used to, like a lot of other animals, need to kill animals in order to survive but now don't need to, so is it now wrong?

“Animals are there to be killed.”

All animals play apart in the food chain so therefore most of the animal kingdom is some sort of pray (other than the obvious ones at the top of the food chain)

“We just need to kill in moderation.”

What I mean by this is not kill till extinct. Perfect example the dodo.

Now I have no problem with eating meat (as long as it’s not on the endangered spices list) and I’ll try any food once e.g. grasshopper, pigeon, ostrich.

But I am totally against any form of abuse to animals, bear dancing, fox hunting, dog/cock fighting.

But what pisses me off most is the use of animal fur. Ok it was necessary many years ago and still is in certain poorer parts of the world and even then they don’t/didn’t kill for the fur only but in the “modern world” there’s no need for it! F’ing puff daddy and all them other hip hoppers busting around in there mink coats… Barstards!

BOTTOM LINE if you dont like it then cool have fun with the tofu and veggis, but i like Meat and if the damn animal has to suffer aleast it wont be for long...Really how long do you think these animales suffer 1 min maybe 3 once it's done then it's done...So your saying if i eat meat then im cruel to animales???????

And how do you go about killing an animal the (HALAL) way???

And how do you know that i have never sufferd......No i am cruel to animals that are in my daily diet,And so be it

Im glad to see that people are so worried about animales rather than humans suffering........Tell me the purpose of a lamb or a chicken or a cow besides the milk or the many other animales.........You dont like it but it is human nature,Always has been since the Neandertal,,,,What do you think he said......Hummmmm I eat Plant or I eat Animale over there....and you know the answer to that but because you dont like it dont try and say someone is cruel because they eat something that has been eating way before you came along.....

I disagree. I don’t see myself as cruel for eating meat. No more than I would see a lion cruel for eating a human.

By your logic, if i shot somebody and he dies instantly without suffering any pain, that would be a "humane" crime! At the end of the day, the fact is, you have taken a life. For me, it doesn't matter whether its human or animal. You call people who use fur as idiots, but it is equal at the end of the day because the killed animal is killed. It does not know for what it is being killed!

"At the end of the day, the fact is, you have taken a life."

So plants (vegetables/fruits) aren’t a form of life then?
