I hoped it to be released early September but at least in Japan i think it will be mid October.
I hope you guys get it before that so I will know how good the camera is before buying

Yes, no official shock rating, but in China they have been calling it 3防 （3-resistance) since Xperia Z by consumers mostly. not sure if in advertorials..I thought I saw "3防“before,,

As popular as any smartphone not named Galaxy or iPhone can be. Obviously also the Chinese OEMs rule the playground there, but Z seems to be fairly popular. I've seen it a number of times on the metro in Shanghai. Arc S was also quite popular, you still see people with these. The NXT line-up completely tanked from anecdotal evidence, though. |

Maybe not as popular as Galaxies and Iphones (especially in HK), but in Shanghai I did saw many Z's indeed.
I was happy to see my wife's cousin and his wife, both had a white and black Z  love to see more and more people really sony as a strong player. now Z ultra comes, they will soon fight HARD aganst those phablet lovers in China, as they are quite popular here

compared to HTC and LG, except HTC new one, I have not seen any of them on the streets anymore actually.
Even Chinese brands like Xiaomi or Lenovo, Huawei are more seen.
Sony does shows up often like the Arc S, Xperia S and Z's.
