This evening I went to local Sony retail store....

Apart from it 4K brothers, Triluminos display also has three more sizes of 1080p which it will not set you back too much.

To me personally, 1080p Triluminos has minimal different compare with conventional Sony screen. Only if you fascinating in deep black LCD and little tad sharper and bit wider colors, 1080p Triluminos will be very satisfying for your eyes.

It has very big different of viewing experience compare between 4K and 1080p Triluminos, I was very please at first sight with 4K but at this stage of part-time jobber I couldn't even dream of afford it.

Well it's certainly been dead.

Just to break the silence with a bit of fluff from one of the Chinese forums which could be completely false, they talk a bit about Honami:

http://translate.googleuserco[....]rhgZX1zd3W0InqXqbUdgBnQ3AND3WQ

Not finished, 6.44 inches Xiaolong 800 core XL39h probably just warm up, because One Sony Xperia i1 first machine has been "Just around the corner". Integrated Sony's own Cyber-Shot and Walkman, powerful hardware - Xiaolong 800 cores, 20 million pixels, the exclusive sensor, Xenon Xenon flash and dual LED Plasma fill light, 3000mAh battery, three anti-property, is simply to re- define the "flagship" of the rhythm.

Mostly stuff we've already got on Honami, but they do mention dual plasma flashes in addition to xenon. They also talk about "three anti-property", whatever that is - maybe something was lost in the translation there.

Anyways, that could all be completely inaccurate as they seem to be quoting an article from somewhere else and I don't know what that source is. Anyone who wants to discuss this, go ahead

I think the "three anti-property" is waterproof, dustproof and something else (hopefully shockproof)
These news are pretty much repetitive from what we have heard. We only have a month or 2 left until official announcement. Where is the official leaked pics of honami?

Possibly. Ramu already said Honami is supposed to be shockproof.

yes, 3防 just means: water/dust & shock resistance. actually they call this 3-anti already since Xperia Z.
remember the Xperia Z drop tests on youtube on wooden floors?

Well the Z could take a bump unofficially, but officially Sony never did say it had a shock rating.

Man, I can't wait for Honami to be unleashed upon the world and show the competition just what Sony is capable of. I'm guessing it should outglass the new iPhone in all possible areas. The phones from the other manufacturers shouldn't pose much of a challange. Then we'll have Honami Jr. (or Ray 3 or whatever you wanna call it) Q1 next year for those who want a smaller phone.

Assuming the shockproof rating part is true, I'd expect it to be similar to Sonys Cybershot cameras where they can take drops of up to 5 feet.

I always did wonder how they handle cases where customers drop them from greater heights and break them, then call in for warranty work to be done. I mean, how do you prove it was dropped from over 5 feet?

Yes, no official shock rating, but in China they have been calling it 3防 (3-resistance) since Xperia Z by consumers mostly. not sure if in advertorials..I thought I saw "3防“before,,

Totally agree wth you bro. Honami is what I will buy. Still need to wait a few more months until I can finally enjoy Quad-core S800 performance >.>

I think that is fairly likely (judging by Sony's track record) - would anyone agree?
