I'm on Cingular with Media works package. I want to be able to view pages as I would on IE. Currently I WAP a great deal, however would like to view pages as if to be using IE.
How are you folks viewing your pages? WAP or HTML? I know there are programs such as Webviewer, however they take forever to load graphics. I have an S710 which has the same specs for Internet as the P910.
Is it possible to view graphics as one would in IE?

I usually use full html as my first choice. If there is trouble, I switch to mobile.esato.com. I don't use wapif I can avoid it, coz the menus are so limited.

What web browsers would you recommend since I don't have a built in browser on the S710?
I guess I can purchase one online. I just need a good recommendation.
I tried webviewer ( Trial Version) and it downloaded pages extremely slow.

I've had my P910 since about October, so about 7 or 8 months. I bought it from Expansys, not from oversees or anything cause I wanted the P910a.

Yeah I know it was just friendly, just having a bit of a laugh.
Haven't really had a chance to check into it much this weekend. Busy being young and whatnot.
Yeah, the P910a is just the US version with the 850 band. Otherwise identical.

I would call the P910a the Cingular version, because nobody else uses that 850mhz band.

Rogers in Canada use the 850 band as well as several providers around Latin America. So Cingular is not alone in using this particular band. Besides, AT&T was the one pioneering 850 prior to the Cingular buyout.

I'm glad they have added EDGE technology.
It's beautiful..... Nice and fast downloading.
I would say the equivalent of what DSL is to PC's. Well...... almost... : )

the only thing I wish I had on my P910 would be EDGE. I would love increased data rates, but I can live with what I have.

Cingular has a contract with Nokia. This contract stipulates that all candy bar style phones will be purchsed only from Nokia.
That means no K750 or it's variation nor W800.
W600 is similar in form factor to the S series. I'm pretty sure that Cingular will carry the W600.
I didn't like at first sight. Now I do like it. It's cool looking Memory is ok. It has EDGE. I LOVE EDGE..... My S710 is a keeper.
I'll stick with this phone for a good while.

good to see you around RichLok. How is Vegas?
I like the W600. If its out soon I would consider using an upgrade to get it. I think its a little more gadget looking and not as sleek as the:se:s we are used to, but nice overall. A huge plus is the size and EDGE.

I've actually returned to LA. I'm doing good.. I'm so hooked on the w800i that I'm willing to sacrifice the 850 band to have it. |

Anyone here Intrested in trading a P910a series for an S710a series?
Depending on the swap, I have a two month old and a brand new never used in it's original box.
