sumahoinfo is not reliable at all, but at least they say so when their info is unreliable.

I laughed because the Italian blog has not minimally checked the veracity of the news.

Any chance to see this?
Non premium = rgb , mono and tof
Premium = rgb, mono, "tele" and tof?

Why do phone makers call 52 mm as tele?
I think it is macro....

btw, as someone mentioned before, I think it's weird that no model numbers of 2019 flagship xperia (but midranges) have been found at all at uaprof.
is it becasue they changed numbering rule as well as series name this year?

52mm is not really macro. In DSLR that would be the setting for closeup portrait.

52 mm is narrow enough to be called a telephoto sensor.

As far as I know, lenses with any angle can be called telephoto and can be used for optical zoom if the other sensor has 2x the angle if you want the phone to have 2x Optical zoom (the angle is in millimetres).

For example, if you have a main sensor that has 26 mm angle and the other lens is 52 mm in angle, the that one is the telephoto sensor. 52 divided by 26 equals 2, that means the magnification is two times the normal angle.

from roland: Here's the thing. Either Sony has another XA3 model coming, or someone's case-based CAD renders were off, at least regarding the front. Or they changed it up later. More soon

It depends on the magnification ratio and minimum focus distance

http://www.slashleaks.com/l/s[....]ia-xa3-screen-protector-leaked

This was rumored as xa3 front. The blue render images looked different. Then again, the Xa family had 2 (Xa and ultra) in the beginning of the year and another one (plus) later.

Does this CinemaWide only refer to screen? Could it also be for the cam?

Well it would only make sense that if they have a 21:9 screen that they'd also let you film in that aspect ratio to make your videos feel more cinematic.
