Yes that's him And I'm afraid he's gonna do the same with Yuga and create negative publicity against Sony Yuga

Screen is washed out, colors not
saturated. Viewing angles are poor
This was true for Xperia t protos, even some final products have this problem, and that is sad...

Hahaha I just read a comment on XDA, one guy said he thinks Yuga looks like a soap box I wonder what he thinks his Galaxy Note looks like |

BTW randomuser, any inkling about flexible/unbreakable screens from Sony or JDI? We know Sony has been working on them for a very long time, but other than the 9.9" display Sony announced a while back, I don't think we've heard too much about it. I wonder if we'll finally see such tech in products next year. |

Isn't it a great time for Sony to snap ST microelectronics' stake?
Haha I don't mind buying Sony Ericsson phone chipsets. |

Ericsson will keep their share. They will probably separate the modem business and close down the rest. Ericsson have always complained about the French, how you can't cooperate with them and so on. Will be fun to see what will happen now. |

My anticipation for the future Xperias has gotten unhealthy. Last night I had a dream that I discovered Odin at a bar and I got excited at the prospect of having the Odin revealed before it was released so I can show people. It quickly turned into a nightmare when people told me it's not Odin but a current Sony phone that's already been out. |

This was a Google translation of a post from IT168 provided by PhoneArena:
"quarterly flagship machine:
5 inch 1080P screen
A15 4-core
3GB RAM
3,000 mAh battery
16 megapixel camera
overall size and Yuga almost. The hardware configuration the stereotypes too early to say, may change next October.
first half of the high-end machine:
Xperia 4 - 720p ~ 360PPI, 12MP, MSM8960T, 1.5GB, microSD, 16GB, 1800mAh
Xperia - 1080p 2400mAh
Xperia 5R - 1080p 440PPI, 13MP, APQ8064, LTE, 2GB, microSD, 32GB, 2800mAh, waterproof IP57
Xperia 6 - 1080p ~ 370PPI, 13MP, APQ8064, LTE, 3GB, microSD, 32GB, 3500mAh"
We all know about most of these stuff but the Xperia 4 seems interesting. A quick search about a 4-inch, 720p display reveals a Toshiba-made display announced way back 2011, which strengthens the claim. A proper Xperia P successor, if the specs be true. Anything about this baby, randomuser? |

Just a few more posts about Vita OS and then I'll stop with it I think, unless someone makes a topic purely about it.
Someone said that without hardware buttons, it wouldn't be the same. I think that Sony can make the back of the phone touch sensitive and that could maybe work as an r1 and r2 button.
They could also place the camera in a similar position to the Vita so it could play those augmented reality games.
I seriously hope they are developing it throughout 2013.
Yeah I would rather have a separate thread to talk about possibility of vita OS on phones/tablets. Maybe you could make a Vita OS thread and post the link on the this thread?
I would, but if there are true rumours about it next year, due to my busy schedule next year, I wouldn't be able to update it...You can make one! I'd join in on the discussions. |
