Hehehe... singit lang sa thread na to...
for P910i users...
512MB Sandisk Pro Duo
Brand new (sealed)
comes with adapter for use with full size MS Pro devices
P6,000 only!
(Sony brand 512MB Pro Duos sell for P21,000)
Why get a 512MB Duo?
Can hold approx 6-7 hours of mp3s or mp4s!
Can double as a thumbdrive if your PC has IR or BT... just beam files to carry with you wherever you go! Never leave important files behind, back-up important docs on your phone! MS Word and Excel files can be edited on the go as well. You can also carry PPT files, and view/present them on your phone!
Will include a CDR of Mpegable (converts almost any video file to mp4) so that you can watch FULL LENGTH movies wherever you are! And yes, I've tried it... it's fun to watch... although I recommend having a lot of short TV shows instead. You rarely are that bored long enough to watch the whole movie. Although, it is easier to carry around than those portable DVD players.

i don't think the 1GB MSD is out in large quantities yet. even if you find one, it will probably still be more expensive than buying 2 512MB MSD's.
but the 512 is really good enough for almost everyone's needs. i have tons of apps on mine (i don't install any apps in the phone memory), a lot of pics, almost 200 ogg vorbis songs, 3 episodes of friends and a whole bunch of other videos, and i still have about 90MB+ to spare.
i tell you, when you get a 512, you will realize just how much you've been missing! |

edgie, 1GB Pro Duo's aren't commercially available yet.
the few people that have found them, bought them for over US$500 (as far as I can remember)
By the time the 1GB Pro Duo becomes affordable, newer phones will be on the market as well anyway.
The price difference between 2 512MB sticks, and the 1GB stick is pretty big. And yes, it may be more convenient... but it's more expensive, not to mention very difficult to find... by the time you find one, you may need to upgrade your phone already!
I actually just made pabili a couple of 512 Duos with my friend... public service for Esato members who are looking for 512MB sticks. I was so horrified kasi when I asked Sony how much their 512MB Pro Duo was... P21,000!!!!! Puń***!!! HAHAHAHA! So I asked my friend who was coming back from the US to buy me a couple of 512 sticks. |

I saw Sony MS Duo PRO 512 MB at Funan last week... I think they were running for around 9k...
And yes, I saw 1GB MS Duo Pro's but I forgot the price already

That's pretty cheap for a Sony (Not as cheap as my P6K Sandisk...which is what comes with the P910i anyway)...
The cheapest Sony 512MB Duo I've seen (non-authorized) is P19K in Park Square 1.
