@ da Brixtser and The Hobbster,
Yeah you're right; the price drops are fairly gradual at the moment and thus there's not much point waiting around for further months on end, for relatively minor savings at this stage.
I just wish that it wasn't just O2 that stocked the phone; they are my preferred UK network but one still has to cough up a fair bit for it unless I take a tariff that I know that I'll never really maximise.
Maybe I'l sell that brand new T39m to some avid collector on esato and use that to pay in towards the handset...
@ Jojo,
Magandang hapon.

Eish Hobbs, i do have the gmail app, but it's very limited in terms of using search operators, viewing whole pages of a conversation, expanding only parts of a conversation, etc. Above and beyond that, it's easier to switch between pages if you're using a 3rd party browser than running the app in the background. In all the time that it's been available i've only used it once or twice. I had hoped that the newer version 1.5 would allow one to edit/delete contacts... Sadly, it doesn't.
@ JK, we're going to be zillionaires when MTN buys out Vodacom, Cell C and Virgin Hang onto those shares bhai

So now we have the K630i. finally discovers HSDPA, but then forgets things like a flash or auto-focus on the iffy 2mp cam.
Irrespective if the phone is targeted towards a specific audience or not, I find it poor that they can't include these on all mid-range phones in their range.

If that should happen, the company making the takeover bid would typically form a new holding company, then offer shares in the new company to existing shareholders of the company being taken over. If i understand it correctly, they also need to announce what they offer per share of the company being taken over, since there may be investors who would prefer to sell rather than accept shares in a new company. Legally their bid may not be lower than the traded or listed price, there needs to be a majority of boardmembers voting in favour of the takeover, etc. Doesn't happen very often in the S.A. market though...

I'd love to give that mobile Firefox browser a try. There are some fantastic mobile browsers available, yet each is also lacking in some regards. Opera and Netfront are byte-hungry, Mini swallows RAM and UCWeb won't open Gmail, which is a necessity for me.

Yeah, hopefully they follow the desktop model which is totally open source.
To all the Muslims on the thread hope you have a blessed Eid ul Fitr.

Sigh, another mundane Motorola effort announced today.
Meet the Motorola U9.
Music-orientated PEBL, anyone...?

Motorolo.Nah,I'll pass thanks.Changed my font to ariblk.ttf.Everything is now large, round, fat, chunky and dark.Looks cool.Especially zoomed to the largest font setting. You gotta love smartphones and the way you can customise them. Its almost like you have a new phone for a little while.

Yeah, one extra day of fasting for my Muslim brethren...a couple of thousand gathered at Three Anchor Bay but were unable to spot the moon.

Maybe we should've asked the New Zealand and Australian coaches to have a shot at trying to spot the moon, seeing that they're both doing plenty of stargazing, trying to find the answer
