no I started it when i bought it ... the walkman is worthless
the camera is only for daylight, night is terrible.
the battery is good for max 2 days ...
and i can go on on and on .

As we told you your model is faulty but you insist its the phone that is like that for everyone. Also 10123 I love how you praise the cube interface. Its just a fancy 3D rehash of the i-phone menu. |

there is nothing wrong with it ,that is the problem .it is just not good !
it always has to do with what you are used to... and this one is the worst i had.

If it lasts 2 days then there is surelt something wrong. How do I go with 3-4 hours of music 5-6 hours of gaming and 3-4 hours of talking for 3-4 days?

maybe cos you do not use 3G or wifi ...i use it ,was using it also with my P1i and this one was for 3 days good. |

Yes I do not use WiFi. If I did it would be a very rare thing. |

Good News!!! i found some sound in the W995i,still not like my old one but better... when you on the Walkman and you click on Options -> settings ->stereo widening -> on/off ....it was on on my phone ...turned it off and i have more volume and bit better sound
when i got it i turned it on cos i thought it will make a better sound,but now i listen and see i was wrong to turn it on,
what do you think about the "stereo widening" thing? |

At least the cube interface is different and an improvment, unlike the W995 which is the SAME as every other SE phone, as i keep saying the same walkman the same menus the same camera interface everything is the SAME. Please enlighten me on how the W995 is different to any SE phone, how about the W980?? |

To me it is a flawed comparison. For example price. In many countries w995 priced lower than N86 though not much and nothing to rave about.
When he talked about GPS he said nokia map can be downloaded thus a plus point. SE users also can download wayfinder maps into the phone making it similar to nokia. Those who have play gps gadgets know that gps on the phone is quite useless for driving. It is more for walkabout which means outdoor. Once in the bright outdoor, what is the use of oled on N86 where you can hardly see whats on the screen?
He didn't mention all the mobile basic functions such as keypad, clever messaging, smart dialing, compact, lighter, speakers, louder in the ear which are plus points for W995. Probably those plus points are needed more in daily usage than the ability to install more softwares. Therefore, the rating should come more or less equal.
To me, basically it is a choice between a featured phones that pleasant to use, or not so user friendly but with options. If only the design of N86 is not so dull...
I must add, that the default music setting on W995 sucks. Only after adjusting eq manually that it becomes more satisfactory.
