I wonder why Sony isn't saying that their device is capable of using a larger SD card as all other manufacturers do. I have been using a 400GB one for sometime, and it had been flawless.

Sony flagships actually support upto 2TB worth of storage as noted here in the white paper for the XZ Premium.

If you check SM website, you find info that XA2 duo are GG on front ( no info on which one) and metal body.
Many tech sites say polycarbonate.

Most of class 10 cards are slower than 100MB/s .
Even emmc memory inside 2014 flagships are way faster.
If you guys check GSMArena photo comparison tool, even XA2 does better other brands flagships.
XZ1 at least in good light humiliates other flagships. Including iphone x, s8 and pixel 2.
Only note 8 comes close..
Go there and play with the tool.
XA2 does much better than XA1.

Off topic:
Has anyone seen xz1 drop test
Because it has a different construction when compared to xz. I think it should be sturdier |

I haven't seen.
But I bet XZ would win against XZ1 because plactic frames.
Impact can be absorbed better.

Xz was not any good actually
There was frame distortions upon impact.
It cannot take impacts too well |

LG is struggling to sell P-OLED screen to Sony, it is estimated that Sony's new machine will use LG's OLED screen.
Chances are JDI and LG mix
