from when purple fringing appears on not-contrasting edge?
BTW. what is this "blue color" around the tree in background? there is no reason to get upset, K800 and K850 were not better in this matter

first of all, its the flower in the middle whos in focus. (which mean the background(trees, etc) gets of course unsharp...no news for you i guess).
besides, there is no cellphone who have 0,0% chromatic aberration. just for fun i looked at some samsung 8510 pics, (8510 is one of the phones there people say have best full size quality)...i checked mostly trees, leafs pictures..........
and guess what....it had sometimes "blue noise" around edges
strange huh
samsung 8510

just for you i copy the whole flower..(now you have light background as well)
...............looks really good in my eyes
same as above

well, that's exactly what I want to say. color fringing is often issue in all photo devices and there's no reason to say that our phones can be free from this issue, more or less visible but still is. 8510 cannot be unique

for me neither 8510 or c902 suffers of some "real" chromatic aberration. (i understand your point though)
when i look closely at a picture, (like the flower pic above for example).....i see sharp, clean edges.......i dont see any "issues" at all.
ive seen cellphone pics with issues on the object right away, you see it in shrinked size pretty fast....thats totally different.

Well Raider, that's totally true.
Except for Plank's phones that are totally free of any of these problems.

????
(for once, he actually agree what i said, not disagree)
besides, i think that flower looks absolutely great in full size..... no issues at all.
(i wondering if people actually know how small this yellow flowers are (they looks like big Tulips or something on the picture)...BUT they are sooooo tiny, the picture is taken, very close )

Hey everyone! I can't really tell cause the pictures posted on this thread are all reduced size so here's my question:
When I take pictures with my C902, even in full daylight outside... the image is always very noisy... I have the latest firmware too, updated yesterday when my phone came through the post.
It's brand new, so I'm wondering whether every C902 is like this or if the camera on mine is faulty?
I'd love advice on this, here is a link to a picture taken today (you can view it in its full, original size. Notice the noise on it?)

edit...
think its nothing wrong with your camera...the picture looks really good i think
besides, that picture is NOT taken in optimal light, try some auto pictures in full sunshine and the noise will get much better
(daylight white balance is also a good idea, give you a more solid quality)
is it a branded or unbranded c902 you got ????

Hi thanks for the answer
I'll try what you mentioned, glad my picture seems to be ok then!
I've got an unbranded phone, does it make a difference?
