When I go to buy a credit from Wotan's site using PayPal I get a message saying it could not process the transaction. Anyone else get this?

Never mind, got it working now.

One thing I have just noticed after flashing; I am sending my contacts from my K700i via bluetooth and my K800i started receiving them and after it got about 6kb of it, it asked me did I want to receive the contacts. This must be a bug as when I send contacts to the K700i it doesn't start receiving anything until you tell it to.

Nothing major but interesting if its not a bug (why would they change the behaviour)!

@obentou.
Is the issue with the green line on one side of the screen while video recording, solved in the new R1ED?

Well I've decided to chance and upgraded the EROM, and in the process of flashing as we speak..

All seems to have gone fine, but now it's sat on "CSLOADER: starting FS", and it's been like that for about 10 or 15 minutes, is that right? Nothing seems to happen, but I'm scared to unplug it...

Mine took about 30 seconds on the cs loader.

In all it shouldnt take you no longer than 15 mins in all to dowload the firmware, and update the phone. My average time is about 6-9 min. depending if the firmware is already downloaded

Regarding the Green Line

It has, If you also want to check on the first page its also mention there .

Hope this helps.

I just used the Wotanserver to upgrade the EPROM, debrand and update the firmware on my O2 branded K800. Everything went through fine.

Very pleased

Just gotta get the GPRS settings again now

RonaldM,

I just tried videorecording in high Q mode and there was no green line present during the recording. Just to make sure, I played back the file and there wasn't any green line either.

I usually don't record videos with the phone since the quality is horrendous. But I hope my finding helps.

And another bug lingering on R1ED:

The call timer in the service menu does NOT match the total call timer in the settings menu. This should be noted.

Does anyone know if the latest firmware release cures the bug whereby the MP3 Tag information isn't passed from the k800i to the HBH-DS970 Stereo Bluetooth Headset? I contacted SE about a month ago and they acknowledged the bug and said it would be fixed in a future release.

Oh yes! Excellent News.

Well, I tried restarting the PC, and it got one stage further, now it's stuck on GDFS, I'm waiting to see if that crashes too. Tried it on my laptop and I get the BSOD, which may be coz it's an old old laptop! I guess I'll keep trying...

dude its obviously not going to match.
when you upgrade the firmware the call timer in the settings menu is reset...while the one in the service menu stays the way it is... so the service menu timer displays your original call time..thats the total call time of the phone from the beginning
hope this helps
