yea, it is
strange that SE uses old cheap lion technology batteries instead of poly-lion. they've used poly-lion since the T28 but now most models have lion

Hello everbody, and sorry boba for beeing so silent...
now... I want/have a feeling that i have a responsibility for buying some classe (S)e´s too keep the history alive...
this time i felt in love with t39 and t600
now should i buy either of them or buy both..? mind u, they are cheap as we´re talking 2nd hand... they are all former buisness phones.. thats a good idea, right? i guess they should be in an excelent condition then...
Btw, whats the excact difference btween the available t39 and the cancelled t36.. anyone?

thx... + ok!! what about the R520m... what makes it so special (i know its a silly q to ask )
Dont know if you ever got an answer for the fuzz about the different system connectors... i have one...
It´s because ericsson "new" phones, starting with t28, is using another voltage than than the earlier ones... i think its now 3,6V, right? earlier it was 6,4V i think...

Whilst (slightly) on the subjects of connectors... Here's a strange one for you. The current UK charger supplied by is the CST-13. Here's a pic of the rating showing the CST-13 to the left with the older "inline" charger supplied by Ericsson:
Look at the output rating. The CST-13 has a 5V 450mA rating, whilst the other has a 5V 0.65 A rating. Yes, the older charger charges faster than the newer one... |

Indeed. The older /// charger are way better. I use usually my r520 charger, that with the changeable head. The cable is so well done on it, feels really stable.

Thx for the kindly comment. Its possible to charge, but go for an original /// even its a rarity. Way better batt performance is the result.

@ ericssonman. the T36 didn't have GPRS, thats one of the main reasons the canceld it.

the T36 was the first BT phone, it also supported HSCSD.
ericsson told me they canceld the phone for 2 reasons.
no GPRS: there was growing demand for SE phones
the flip: they say they have alot of problems with the flip mechanisme of the T28. they prefered the T29 flip.
its said cause i liked the yellow design. and back then i didn't need GPRS. i needed HSCSD. my provider supported it for the same price as wap. but anyway, instead of buying the T39 i bought the T68m later
