I'm wondering how you guys get such great shots out of your W800's. Mines has nice colors, but there is a problem where parts of the image are nice and sharp, while others are oddly blurry. The blurry parts appear throughout the image in different spots. I've checked the lens and its 100% clean so its not from smudges.

I've attached a picture for you guys to demonstrate. Look along the line. Parts of the houses along the plane are in focus, while others aren't and appear blurry. Look at the wheels of the car on the right. The front ones are sharp, the rear is blurry.

This makes no sense to me. Either the entire image should be blurry due to an unsteady hand, or it should all be sharp. Not blotches of blurriness like i'm seeing. Has anyone had this issue before?

@radiux - I see NO problem with the image, YES, it's NOT that sharp though Try taking images OUTDOORS when the SUN is at it's PEAK or try changing the settings pal.

@sun - Nice concept-fone ! Did it ever come to your mind to FORWARD your blue-print to [addsig]

That picture was taken outdoors with a ton of sunlight. I realize that the lens isn't super great quality so it can't be the sharpest image in the world. But if the image was a bit soft, then the entire image would be soft, not small chunks of it, while others are nice and sharp. Thats what makes no sense to me. Almost ALL the shots i've taken have these blurry blotches in areas of the photo, so its not just a single incident.

@REO:

i wonder what else do we have in common lol.

btw, i am also into remote-control cars and some scale toy car modeling (more on Tamiya stuff, though). i love toys with wheels and i'm fond of collecting such. guess, i'm still a kid at heart. i still have some of my childhood toys with me

cheers for your Timex, mate!

@sunils:

it resembles the K850 alright but i guess its only in the soft keys, while the rest of the keypad is definitely K810. the back is more like W960 to me.

cheers, mate!

here's another contribution taken just yesterday near Manila Bay, Philippines.

its actually an old Ford Mustang (dont know what model year). notice also that it has flat front tires! anyway, just to show what the W810i can "photographically" do
