@milukugiuniu

I know I know... I posted a Vine gif with the watch being immerged... the fact is that till some day ago there was NO IP57 certification... but now they added it.. so I think they changed something!

zomg confirm...
So I can confirm that BIONZ for Mobile has made it into the new i1. It is a software based RAW->JPEG engine developed by the NEX/Alpha team for Krait architecture. The results are outstanding, noise is reduced and detail is kept and it also doesn't use too much compression like previous Sony phones, JPEGs on average are 20-30% larger than they would be with the older engine.

The engine could also be rolled out to Xperia Z/ZL with the next version of Android.

Same like what they did to X-reality. All of those chips are software based on this phone and it's a good thing because it can make the device a lot thinner and lighter

OT, glad to hear the smartwatch 2 is waterproof and it should be since the charging port is concealed under the usb flap unlike the exposed port of smartwatch 1.

Zomg may have heard wrong. There is a dedicated ISP hardware in the phone (from the leak dump). So it's hardware BIONZ not software.

they want it to sell, so even with the amazing specs, i'm guessing no more than Z price when it first came on the market.

I think the device that maiaramdan saw is sony 2014 flagship aka one sony 2 or i2 or just a prototype of honami that didn't make it as the final design
