hello everybody.
@thuggie, well since i want the broadband for only 2 months i opted for the modem rental, so had to pay 1st month charges of rs500 (256kbps, 1GB limit frm june 1st) + 100 (modem rental). then the installation charge of Rs500 + Rs500 safety deposit which is refundable. so total came to Rs1600, then next month i have to pay another Rs600 for modem rental +monthly charges.
the connection is pretty good i have downloaded bout 4GB in 3 days. not bad.
@mrao, yup i'm still in chennai. will b here for a while.
alright time for b'fast part II.

@debu...whiz tried all possible combinations for the pwd....Either he's forgotten th password he set in the first place  ( likely prospect) ...or the MMC is genuinely headed towards a bin ( likelier prospect):p

BTW the wrong password was Possibility #1...which just got ruled out
so i guess that leaves us with Possibility #2...the bin

@killer...good morning....san was lookin around to get broadband and eventually got BSNL Dataone ....he might have some idea....i think thuggie was also planning to get it..
