Trying the Image Shack thumbnails link for the first time with my K750i pics.
Yay, it works. Tower Bridge and a wierd reflection of London's City Hall in the glass.

'Day of the Dead'
Spent about 20 mins in there looking for the oldest grave, I saw one from 170? but you could barely read it. Cemetary is only a few metres from the sea so all the salty air corrodes the stonework really quick

Heh, you look like a chav ! !
Btw, look at the first date of that grave, 1795 - so the sea air cannot corrode them all that quickly - not bad to say its 210 years old !

That's what I was thinking lol, I must be the geekiest chav lookalike in the world. I couldn't stop wearing the Ferrari cap i've had one glued to my head since long before the word chav was invented, actually on my fifth one now, I have to replace them when the sunlight turns them pink, plus some thieving rogue stole one of them!. As long as I don't act like a chav i'm happy, especially as the only clothes I have are sports stuff!, never found anything more comfy I guess. I can say with all honesty I don't own any 'bling' though, no metal chains or anything like that, hell I don't even bother wearing my watch.
As for the stone it must have been sheltered somehow, not sure how though as it was just as exposed as all the others on the cliff top, maybe it was a certain type of stone that copes better, probably most most people could only afford to buy the cheapest least durable headstones.
This one (not taken by me) has also weathered well:-
==EDIT== You don't half get some queer inscriptions on gravestones!
I thought about going into the church to find out what the oldest one was but I never bothered.

Died 1770 ! aged 109 !
She must have been born in 1661 then !
She would have been 344 years old this year if she'd have lived.

Someone living to 109 in those days must have been pretty rare!.
