No details have been leaked about details of it yet, so battery could be higher capacity

Xperia XZ1 Compact rendering.
Should be accurate since it's from onleak

So it will be a plastic/glass rear if NFC is in the middle?

On Sumahoinfo it is said to be 9.4mm.
Z5c is 8.9mm.
Xc is 9.5mm.
But it looks thicker than Xc to me...
Imagine if it has better battery life than Z3c.. 😱 |

Bottom bezel is unnecessarily big, top and bottom bezels are not symmetrical. They should've reduced the bottom bezel by using bigger screen (4,8" or something). |

It looks a lot thicker than the Z5C. Looks really nice though, I prefer it to the Z5C design. It looks pretty solid.

I like the fact thickness helped to hide cam. On XZ1 looks ugly.
It looks matte to me, very different of Xc.
But I have no idea if it is Alkaleido or glass.

I just compared the XZ1 Render with the live fotos from yesterday and the render look a lot thicker too. check it out yourself,
I think XZ1C will not be appearing that ticker.... lets see. I will probably be as thick as the Z5C acording to the leakers. |

Flagship will always look better than the compact because there is a greater footprint so the XZ1 is nicer overall due to its proportions while the Compact will always look squished. If it has the slo-mo cam, 1080p screen and waterproofing then it will be amazing. |

I agree, it would be a true mini powerhouse.
I prefer the proportions of the compact. It looks sturdier, less flimsy. Long, slim phones look more feminine to me.

"Judging by this render, there's a fair chance the 19 MP, 960 fps MotionEye camera rumored to be making its way to the XZ1 won't be found in its smaller sibling, as there is no particularly noticeable camera bump to be found on the device's back."
God I hope theyre wrong.
@Adida , do you know something about it? |

Phonearena is one of the worst sites. The camera bump is needed only on extra-slim phones and everyone knows the Compact is always quite a bit thicker than the full sized version. It's not a slim device.
Plus, to suggest that it will come with an 8.0mp rear shooter is just ridiculous, regardless of what benchmarks say.
