Howzit Jmash! LOL thanks boet. I'm enjoying trying to use a modern cellphone as a 'visual blog' of sorts, learning how to make the most of the cam's abilities as I myself look n' learn on all The Wanqa's Travels. Haven't been online till now as I've been helping friends get last minute things before they fly back to SA. I'm at Heathrow Airport as I type this. Not my fave place to be at all. Organised chaos. @ Hobbsta: LOL, you're so right, 'Beans on Toast' would indeed be an appropriate one for Da Wanqsta.. dang..what did the mrs put in the pasta last night that's got me firing on all cylinders today..?! LOL.

Wow, hope that's the case. The first thing I'm gonna check when I get a SE P1i is the firmware, that's for sure. Still no great network deals here on this handset though. Gonna phone a few retailers tomorrow and test my persuasive skills, but I ain't holding my breath..

@hobbs,amawanqa: the p1i has 128mb ram compared to 64mb of p990 so naturally it boots up with bout 64mb more than p990. Brilliant for multitasking. U can practically run about 25apps. Imagine keeping opera mini, web browser, messaging, contacts, mxit, rss blah blah blah open all the time. Amazing. But the p1i still has a slower processor than current n-series phone so it struggles a bit with intensive programmes. I think the next one, p3i will get it spot on. |

Thanks Jits; completely forgot about the extra RAM.
Off topic, here's 2 macro mode shots of the Scottish £20 note, featuring Robert The Bruce. Had to change the Scottish notes for English notes before we drove back into England, as they aren't readily accepted outside Scotland, even though one can use either £5, £10, £20 etc note in Scotland! FFS, let's just complicate things, shall we?

Putting all my music back on my computer and came across Faithless's 'Outspective' Double CD.Its pretty good stuff.First time im actually listening to it and its not bad. Those two can really create magic. Its so multi-faceted.Very relaxing and at the same time uplifting and high energy. One minute you want to lay down and sleep and the next get up and dance.Going to put a tune or two on my phone and make the most out of that MegaBass . |

When I think or hear of Faithless, Insomnia starts playing in my head immediately. "I can't get no sleep..." LOL.
The closest I've got to dance music is probably The Chemical Brothers, which helps me to get my butt off the seat here when I need to do the chores around the house and/or garden.

Taken close to where I took the bee n' thistle pic, in Falkirk, Scotland. Very close to the mechanical marvel that is The Falkirk Wheel.
A bugger to take pics with bright white elements in them (and the reflective properties that it has), as on the boat in this pic. Still came out well enough IMHO.

@dad - Nice boat-pic considering that the weather is a bit cloudy (not sunny) when you took it . . . !

@ Jojo,
Yup, we only had a handful of sunshine-filled days while travelling all over.
And when we got back to London, it was also gloomy ...

And for how long are you over there? On the 23 of June this year I have been for exactly 20 years in SA (ok I fly home for holidays but officially I reside in SA). South Africa has changed a lot in this time - the question is - are the changes for the good or . . . If Tabo won't clap hand with such vigour for Mugabe, I might just stay for another 20

@ama - Now those are what I call . . . UNDER-the-WEATHER pics I'm sure it should have been sharper if the weather was - SUNNY !

@ Jojo,
Yeah, the pics sharpness really suffered in those conditions. This one of Buckingham Palace was taken with the N73 on the same day, albeit earlier in the day, and the sharpness is fortunately better despite the cloudy conditions.
@ Mario,
I don't know boet. That's a Million Pound question. Financially it makes absolute sense to stay here, but I miss the SA life in the Eastern Cape tremendously at times.

@ama - You're a TEACHER in school - right I am just quite puzzled with how things are SPELLED in such landmarks at your end What I was taught of is that when names ends in: S and Z . . . it usually being followed by an - apostrophe and NOT with an apostrophe - S
Check out the image/name I saw in the pic you have uploaded . . . I guess it should read: St. Thomas' Hospital and NOT St. Thomas's Hospital . . . your thoughts
