@Xperia_aio
Maybe the real deal is a bit different from that. I don't recall if it was Xperia T, Z or S that the images from the device in the phone tutorials and such weren't exactly the reprodution of the device, so, let's see...

Is the picture Honami's screen is showing the augmented reality app for camera that had been making the rounds in pervious batch of rumors?
The real deal may be drastically different; remember the pic of Z in its manual which made Xperiablog believe that was a new handset codenamed c670x

Big bezels have one advantage, they make the phone easier to hold at landscape. But other than that there's nothing. It is nice how it doesn't have a speaker line at the top and it's placed discretely as a cut a the very top. |

exactly.. that's what i'm hoping for at this point.. if the size is as ambi has suggested - 145x74x9 - then i think the difference in these specs and the z are just the bezels.... |

What I see in this pic are:
1. An augmented reality app.
2. Notification light strip.
3. The speaker is not located on the front.
4. huge bezels on top and button but thin bezels on the sides.
Guys' please add what you see.

Like I said earlier, disappointment. Sony is capable of doing better and that we have to wait till 2014

The best would be if we could have the helpapp.apk or Firsttimesetup.apk...
@BenLing, could you either decompile those two apps and see what you can find there, or send me those two to try, please?

No honami on July 4th, only togari.
Like unknown13 said, honami in august (planned date) I doubt it would be earlier than that.
I dont quite agree with unknown13's opinion on Z 2 ( or Z refreshment). Sony was quite late in offering the Z in the beginning of the year. S4 was soon announced and launched and so did HTC ONE went off. Yes the Z did a great job in the H1, but the sales is ending, or "ended." No more room for Z, at least anywhere but USA. If Sony doesnt launch another flagship device other than Togari (since alot of consumers think its too big), Sony wont gain/maintain much recognition around the globe.
Manufacturers always need to meet the market's demand, keep up to date with what those demands are, otherwise you wont stay long in the market. Im sure Sony's marketer knows about this. Launching Z2 at the same price as Z wouldnt be much of a difference in. Well, price doesnt matter atm, tech prices always drop over the days. So its too hard to make any assumptions now about prices.
Honami's spec sheet is nice, but I expected more from Sony, and i know this isnt what they are capable of.
I guess i have to wait till 2014 for the real deal from Sony.
Hey litoni, I think you missed my second part that I wrote. I didn't say Sony won't release another flagship this year after the Z, but their next flagship is already Honami. On paper, Honami is better than the current Z in many ways. Its price will also match the current Z. Now, if Sony is to release a refresh Z and keep the same price point, adding just a refreshed CPU won't cut it as Honami will take all the interest away. Unless Sony dramatically drops the Z price down, there's not really a spot for a refresh Z. =) |

The best thing would be, IMO: Releasing an upgraded Z, with all the Honami stuff, except the new huge camera, with a better sensor than Z, but not bigger, putting it at the same price as Z. The original Z, drop the price, and make Honami a bit more expensive than refresh Z...
