@Rhino: It should be said, this was my first attempt trying connect to the internet via BT... I thought XP was supposed to eliminate these connectivity issues.

Tahir, let me tell you a little secret. VODACOM CUSTOMER CARE REPS DOESNT NO SHIT. Its very rare to get to talk to one that can really help you. The problem with Bri x aint the network, but the communication between devices.

Anyone around here using either an iBook or a PowerBook? Last night's episode has put me off connecting via BT for a while. Have to agree with Rhino, problem was not on with the network.

@Tahir,
Thanks for that. To show a number it is actually *31#. I noticed that when u dial a number you have the option menu to show or hide number. That works great if u are dialing from keypad, but ____all help if you dial from contacts.
I have added *31# to my cell number in his contact list, so atlease CLI works when he phones me...

Can you phone MTN and ask them to activate it then? Useless bloody MTN Edit: That can't be right, he is using the same sim, and had no problems with his Blokia 6110i and CLIP. Problem only started when he changed to P910i. And I thaought all SE phones had an option to "Send own number", I know my V800 does???

Just loving my V800, can't wait to get my T28 service cable, then I can get it back to the way SE intended
They sent another cable yesterday after the first one went AWOL when it crossed into SA borders somewhere after over 6 weeks

they did however BEG for us to reconsider and offered us ridiculous offers!!!! now we have 2 mtn lines with platinum status!!!

the line were 6 yrs old at the time!!

My understanding of a megapixel is that its 1000000 pixels or is it 1024000 pixels. The k700i got 960 x 1280 pixel cam that works out to 1228800 pixels.

Enough said anyhow.

NOPE wrong again, thats screen resolution pixels...

the s 700 and v800 are the only 1.3 mega pixels cam for SE!!!

K700 has the same cam as the t630!!!!!
theres no way that a k700 has a 1.2 meg pixels cam!!!!

it is a 0.4 meg cam!!!!!!

ENUF SAID!!!!!!!!!!!!

Rhino SE don't call the cam in the K700 a megapixel cam coz it ain't ... You're refering to the extended picture option which just adds more lines to the picture... Try to print the pic you'll see the bad quality.
