Does anyone know of a way to get in-ear headphones designed for an iphone to work with the Xperia S?
I bought some Denon headphones from play.com, as they were reduced to £29, primarily to use with my laptop and they work fine on there, but don't work at all with the Xperia S. They do say designed for iphone/ipod, but I thought that would be just the remote - but they don't work at all and sound still comes out of the phone speaker. They're the AH-C 560R. Is there something in the settings I can change or an app to download? |

got one yesterday. its a black one from three.co.uk, need to unlock so just ordered an unlock code for $39 costly.
device is in good build, no yellow tints i see on the screen. feels nice and rests nicely on the hand unlike my old GSII which i always tend to slip .
i would say the device is bigger. if the clear bar at the bottom is off then it will be smaller device for this kinda screen size. i feel the touch buttons are annoying.. finding hard to used to it. the tiny dots helps little .
the screen is so good and sharp. i can read smaller texts even .
the body material is matt, which i like quite a lot
i got with the pacakge are
1. charger and USB cable
2. @ smart tags
3. HDMI cable.
waiting for the unlock code....

Well not that, but I'm still happy with my arc and don't think I really need the upgrade just yet

i think sony xperia s is to BIG. (it really is). feels very VERY big in your hand, and even bigger when you put in your pants. (Arc s is also nearly to large)
a BIG trophy to Iphone 4(s). (absolute best size....not to small and not to big)
....why ??? (because of Apple lovely casing design there the screen goes nearly edge to edge around the frame)
so Sony........learn from Apple !
Learn from Apple!? Each to their own, but the xperia arc is the perfect size for my hands, and if you want to opt for the smaller 3.5" devices just go for the Xperia U. Plus I actually find the 4S uncomfortable to hold, the sharp edges aren't the best..

^^ (edit)

i think sony xperia s is to BIG. (it really is). feels very VERY big in your hand, and even bigger when you put in your pants.
(Arc s is also nearly to large, but if feels slightly better in your hand, because of the curled shape)
a BIG trophy to Iphone 4(s). (absolute best size....not to small and not big......lays perfect in your hand.....and still big enough to enjoying movies).
so Sony........learn from Apple !

Plank Sony designs are way better than the boring square shape of iPhone. Seriously iPhone is boring screen too small aswell. Whatever turns you on but Sony and Ericsson before them were always unigue in design. Arc S is not big.

i thought Sony S looked AMAZING (when i first saw it on the internet)...........BUT after i hold it (for real).....man, did i got disappointed.
the design feels cheap & very plastic. the screen is not as good & responsive as for example iphone.
never in my lifetime i buy a Sony S..........(no offend to all Sony lovers )
