- it came with english and chinese lang. only, do you know how to install portuguese?
- how do i update this thing?

Install PC suit for Sony Ericsson. You can get it from the official site, under support. then connect your phone to it. the language pack is there too.

I think not...but that should be doable, because the internet key was already hacked to start any program you want on UIQ3...

anyone having trouble with bluetooth? there are 2 devices that cannot be installed, vista looks for a driver of it...

!!!ATTENTION UIQ USERS!!!
It is the second time (well second i know) someone messed up his phone using SEUS! It is recommended NOT to update UIQ phones via SEUS because it may damage it. Both people i know had to return it to service. It is better to have a service update rather than SEUS. And 1 of them is hungarian using G900, and the other is using P1i amd is from Romania. There are chances you may damage your phone; i updated it, and worket, but sometimes it stops at 97-98% and then you're toasted. I just thougt i let you guys know of this. This proves once more how LOUSY SE is now..
SO again, i recommend a service update rather than SEUS. But you do what you want; it's your phone. |

calm down...i´ve been using UIQ3 phones for TWO years, and never had a problem with SEUS
and most UIQ3 users on the forums do the same...and have no problems...
probably you just have a lousy connection...

well read my post again. 1 is from hungary, and one is from romania. I also did mine with seus, but like i said (and others suggest this too) a service flash is better.
P.S. 2 years ago i also had problems with it. my w800 installed till 99% then jumped out. Later on people started posting the same problem.
And to underline my hate for SE (i loved it till i bought my k810 1 year ago), they really messed up this G900. Bad picture quality (P1 and W960 are miles ahead). Faulty firmware (lights go out on keypad, alot of crashes, picture viewing outside media player is horrible, etc.), you have frames but you can't use them, slow interface (because slow CPU), and MANY MANY more. If i knew this before i bought it.. thats why I'm selling it in a month. I regret i didn't buy a P1  |

i think you just had bad luck with that unit...all i see in this topic os praise for the G900, and the reviews are the same
regarding photo quality, well, just look at the G900 photos topic...the results show by themselves...

Yes but all pictures are washed out! very badly. Almost no colors at all. Not to mention that touch focus is not working correctly. + Shots with LED are horrible, overexposes like no other. I tryed to take a picture of a white toy car, man was that an overexposed one. First of all focus is not focusing correctly, and the car was glowing. I didn't experience such a bad camera before. Even the k700 did better. I understand it's not a cyber shot, but come on; give the man a decent camera with a smartphone. I'm not happy with it. + that the new media player sucks big time. On the k810 i could select a folder and add to playlist. With this one everything is in playlist (ringtones, SMS alerts, all), and can't create a playlist.. have to add it 1 by 1, and i have 900+ songs. And sometimes when i test the camera, and take a picture then delete it, it says "cannot delete... bla bla" so i have to delete it myself from file manager. Any of you know whitch file is responsible for camera? i relly want to mod it! it's very bugged, and next firmware will be released.. ho ho... in 4-5 months.
P.S. thi is my 3rd!!!!! unit. I have had 2 more from 2 oher stores and where faulty. All had same performance and picture quality.
AAAAAAND what really bugs me is that EVERY TIME IT STARTS THE COUNTER FROM 0!! EVERY TIME I TAKE A PICTURE IT'S DSC00001. I mean WTF man?

norbi ,i did a seus update on my g900 ,no probs here. u can't blame SE for a 3 faulty units ,like you have. i'd go for the shop that sells them ,not SE ,or you ,maybe u'r doing something wrong dude. no one complained bout this prob ever with a G900.
it's your bad luck.
and if SE is bad for you and you hate it so much ,get a freakin' Nokia ,and enjoy the S40/S60 bug-full OS. it's like Nokia runs a brother of some kind of Windows ME ,too bad it doesn't giva a blue screen ,it just hangs every hour
