Is the virtual keyboard for the touch screen available for most programs?
Especially Notes, Word docs etc...
How easy is it use? Is the screen too small for the virtual keyboard to use with the stylus? (I have never used a UIQ phone before, only WM6, please be patient with my questions.) Trying to decide whether to buy one or not.
Thanks |

The virtual keyboard is available all the places you can do text input. The size is reasonable.
It's very easy to use and only takes a few minutes to get familiar with. If you've used WM6, I'd said UIQ is much easier to use.

hey buddy thnx for the reply.kust curious to know how is the camera is it wise enough for me to compare it to the n82 i guess no but anyways let me know ur opinion.is it easy to text on this cell. one think i dont link abt the nokia always is that they dont have a indicator for missed calls etc et.. which SE does have at the bottom of the cell.somehow i like their uiq OS and i personally feel that SE uiq phones have more features than symbian. |

Thanks Mizzle for the information. I have used a HTC TYTN before and that had the built in keyboard. I am terrible with T9 and look for a proper keyboard (virtual or real). I don't know whether to go for a P1i or W960i. I don't really need the 8GB of the W960i, but it looks SO much better than the plain P1i. |

the worst thing i've come across in terms of ergonomics is its battery cover!
damn.....its takes lot of strength to get it open...and now when the cover is closed...its already squeeking!
the material used on the back of the w960 feels really good but damn, u need very very dry fingers to get it out...the same story for the sim card holder.
otherwise, the phone is very good...

Strange! My back cover is fine, & no sqeaks. Now the P990i back cover is a pig! |

Get P1 then and flash it to W960 firmware when possible to do so.

apanjwany, i am extremely confused between n82 and w960, but really don't know which to pick, i didn't use any device with UIQ so i am afraid that it will run slow, now i want to know, are you happy with your w960 ? how is the sound quality/loudness through the headset and loud speaker compared to your old n82 ? |
