Right, just got back from friends in east London.
@ Hobbs,
My previous post was of course in jest, as was your one I'm sure. However, enough is enough now. I'm not going to just accept or tolerate anyone talking twak about my lifestyle or modus operande.
My dedication and regular contributions to this thread are indeed obvious(and hopefully the majority are of pertinent cellphone-related value).
It's my way of contributing to the SA cause in some way, while living abroad but still having very strong roots in SA.
We can have a few light-hearted digs about phone allegiances, personal preferences etc, but finding fault (whether in jest or not) with people's personal lifestyle, modus operande et al can quickly become all too close to 'personal'..
Mario's post was tolerated to a point due to his 'concern' undertone. Yours was just joking I'm sure, but it referred to his which wasn't necessary.
Now please don't get me wrong, I ain't the grudge or unforgiving type, but l draw the line there, those are my boundaries. People can say what they like about my personal phone choices, preferences, general stuff etc, things that are open to conventional debate and discussion on such a forum. Let's keep things in appropriate realms.
Let's ALL do what we can to maintain respectful behaviour, myself included.
If I ever offend or overstep any boundaries, which I really endeavour not to do, then I would expect the respective person/persons to let me know so that I can do what I need to rectify things, apologise or whatever. If I'm proven to be in the wrong, I'll be man enough to admit and repent.
I woulda PM'd this but as there was reference to another's warped analysis I decided to make things clear to all.
Peace out.

Does anyone know if the new Nokia battery for the N95 (1200mA) does fit into a standard N95 or must one buy a new case too? And my Holux M-1000 bluetooth linked to my N73 works like a dream. The N73 fits just fine into my Toyota Camrey's dashboard between the tachometer and rev counter. Now my wife (or anyone als for that matter) can send me a sms and my cell will reply (sms) with my exact location . Furthermore - the M 1000 is very accurate (if more then 10 satellites are locked onto, it pinpoints the position within 3m to 5m hor. and 7-10 m verticaly !) The days of my dedicated Garmin-72 Gps are numbered Served me well for almost 5years thou.

Have to agree with the wanqsta to an extent, there's a line to be drawn when it comes to personal insults. Even though it was said in jest (I assume) it made me cringe when I read it.
I occassionally take digs at my dear friend mario but we both know its all for laughs and it never crosses the line into his personality. I for one know the next time I'm in trouble with the small-town cops in J-Bay I'll give mario a shout.

WOW!......WOW!.....WOW!....WOW!.......OUCH! "Blistering Barnicles!!!!!" What the hell just happened in here.Wangsta im really really really really really sorry.I didnt have any intention to piss you off.Jites said he was studying psychiatry and that just popped into my head.Totally innocent. My sense of humour is what it is because its unscripted. If something pops into my head I go with it.You should know me better by now to know Im pretty pure and well intentioned.Am I forgiven? lol
Brix Whats up with the 'said in jest' '''(i assume)''' and all the cringing that went on afterwards.Cant believe you also saw it that way.Am I missing something here. You must remember Im still relatively a newbie in the South African Mobile Discussion and obviously I dont know you guys well enough to pull the wrong strings well intentioned or not.
As Wangsta says Peace out even though I dont feel very peaceful at the moment.

@ Mario,
Touche boet, touche.
@ Hobbster,
No worries boet. Really, I accept completely what you have said and that's that.
I particularly enjoy your sense of humour, I mean it dude; it was the referral to Mario's contentious post that triggered me to make that boundary.
Please take my word for it when I say that I don't mean to cast a gloom over things, it's not my intention. I sincerely don't think any less of you or or others; hell I ain't perfect and if I ever overstep or cause any controversy or animosity, whether intentionally or not, then please let me know too.
Peace out indeed bro.
BTW, that line 'blistering barnacles'... that ol' sailor's expression in the Tintin comics? LOL.
