@ Hobbster,
LOL, the HTC really is quite small,(99mm in height) and much slimmer than any other previous HTC WindowsMobile phone. (13.9mm)
The one Orange Network sales assistant had a demo one there, but it had Orange's horrid left vertical menu scroll installed. Very sensitive to thumb touch/input and easy to use without a stylus due to the larger option font spaces; hence its name I guess.
A pity they're still using a 2mp cam without autofocus...

Enjoy Mr. Bean's Holiday. Rowan Atkinson is brilliant.

@Falcon: Please explain to me what the "PVR" app does? I'm interested in being able to record tv programmes using my phone as a remote...something similar to what SKY has in the UK.

@wanqsta: Love the geometric shapes on that new Nokia but has to say that it'll be an acquired taste to many people.

I'll confess, I'm a hip hop fiend- mostly underground- but hate how hip hop and the its listeners are portrayed in the media...I wouldn't buy anything from that shop- too bloody stereotypical.

Just checked out that site, very amateurish.

@ da brixsta,
Oh right, the one on the shopfront. Just visited that site and I see what you mean. Hell it's tacky.
I get what you're saying about the whole media and 'image' that hip-hop wannabe's try 'buy' themselves, by simply purchasing such attire and accompanying attitude. The shop's title was the only connection that I had thought of as regards you and The Gucci One.
I appreciated your stance as regards the homie wannabe's when we were talking about some of MF Doom's songs a good while back. (when you still had the Rapp Snitches signature.)

In a way it's kinda similar with me and the metal clothing shops/scene. Many of these teens around here will buy the attire and suddenly they seem to feel transformed into metalhead/goth/coffin-kid wannabe's for example. Pretentious and stereotypical. Sigh, it's cringe-worthy at times...

EMO...EMO...EMO...that's where its all at for the kiddies nowadays.

BTW, love that Homer Simpson stance...one of my favourite arcade franchise of the 90s King of Fighters needs to get some props.

I occasionally ask this question on the thread: Does anyone here pay for their cellphone content? I'm seeing more and more adverts on tv asking people to send text messages to special numbers but how many people are actual buying this content?

You've simply gotta love X-plore Over the weekend i downloaded a shedload of David Gemmell, Raymond Feist and Stephen King ebooks, most of which were bundled into jar files, together with the Tequilacat reader, then compressed into rar archives. By using X-plore i was able to extract the text files from the jar files without having to first unrar the archives From there it's but the work of a moment to drop all those text files into an ebooks folder and crank up Ye Olde MobiReader

If any of you guys are after some current ebooks, i've found a brilliant site with over 700 current titles and a very active request thread. Loads of mobipocket format books, also some in text format... plenty of comics, magazines, etc, PC forums, phone discussions, even the latest firmware for some phones can be downloaded from there...

True that @ kryptik! Makes extracting the files that you want a lot less messy and less memory consuming
