@adi2101
is your speakerphone working ok? the reason i ask is because i believe the snooze function and the speakerphone use the same sensor. apparently, the motion sensor is quite sensitive and many R520's have had both the snooze and speakerphone malfunction due to dust/dirt buildup.
solution is pretty simple really. just take it to a service centre and have it cleaned. unless you want to risk opening the phone up and cleaning it yourself, which is very risky if you don't know what you're doing... |

When in speaker mode it works fine. The problem is just when it's trying to wake me up. :-(

@vmunix its not so easy as at r320, u have to start always at the top, then at both sides in the same time. The cover material is good quality, not easy to brake. /// Has got special tools for it, u better go in a se service @adi how do u mean wake up problems? Not turning off if u put your hands over it?

As i said, the alarm starts but after a couple of rings the alarm stops even if there's nothing around my phone. When i'm talking, there is no problem, the speaker turns off only if near an object/ear. It cannot be a problem of the sensor.

Indeed, r4a008 is the fw version. Is this the problem? Should I go change it?

Should not be problem of the phone, even with R2. How about to try with some other smtp servers.

Mine's works fine except the fact that is always disconnecting after send-receive. I cannot keep the connection always on.
Btw, what's the latest fw version for r520m?

For Linux users I've found an excelent program for syncing phones and PDAs etc and with the R520m works perfectly:
http://multisync.sourceforge.net/news.php
I've tested it with Fedora Core2, Irda and Ximian Evolution on an IBM laptop. |
