@ Kryptik,
A day filled with sight-seeing has resulted in one knackered Wanqa and Wanqaress, but it's otherwise been a really good day.
@ Jojo,
A great weekend ahead to you too, matey.
Sports Cafe, Haymarket Street, central London.
Taken with the N73:
Grand Prix Legends shop, Regent Street, near Piccadilly Circus in central London:
How often does one see a previous season's Motorcycle GP bike worth a few million in a main street shop window?
One for the Alonso fans, albeit from the Renault era; not the best resolution though...:
Will post more N73 pics in due course...

Bloody fox strikes again! First the Dutch irises were turned into a makeshift bed and now this. If I catch the thing I'll be tempted to neuter it with a blunt Stanley knife. My friend bought his daughter a sponge football, left it in the back yard last night and found it like this earlier today:

@francoislr.The thing that really got me confused is that scene where silar uses his power on that persuasive chick while he is held captive in a special room where he is not supposed to be able to use his powers.Do you have any clue how he got that right?

So how does one deal with the fox problem, Wanqa? Are there commercial products available which deter them? We used to have a problem with moles, nothing really seemed to help. It got to the stage where i would leave notes in their burrows, telling them about the luscious green grass and juicy earthworms opposite the road It seems it worked, they've vamoosed |

@ jmash,
Thanks mfowethu. Hope you're also having a bril weekend there.
@ Jojo,
Being a sports cafe and people having a tendency to touch and fiddle with many such expensive memorabilia, I can understand why there's a glass housing 'protecting' that British Superbike Championship-winning Honda.
The same with Pele's signed shirt, Tyson's boxing shorts etc etc.
The Suzuki Moto GP isn't in a restaurant/ pub but in a conventional shop, but there is a barrier in the inside of the shop to discourage people fiddling with such an expensive machine, although it's surprisingly still open and exposed to touching and fiddling types. The shop sales assistants and CCTV also keep a beady eye around visitors to the shop who are specifically checking the GP bike out.
@ Kryptik,
There are 2 main fox deterrents that are used here. One is a spray/chemical which deters the fox from sauntering around one's garden, but which isn't pungent for our human noses.
The second is an electrical device which has an outdoor weatherproof housing. It emits a high-pitched sound that the fox can't really handle and so it buggers off. It's inaudible to the human ear but I'm surprised that dogs etc aren't affected by these..
The local store has just sold out of these (more stock should be in today), so I take it that (Not-So-)Fantastic Mr Fox has been doing the rounds...
The fox/es are quite 'street-wise' and are pretty agile. They rather clear off when chased or startled by humans or whatever, but they certainly do defend themselves well if cornered...no wonder it takes a good few packs of hounds to catch one of these before fox-hunting was outlawed.

Saw Transformers earlier. Was better than I thought it would be. That autobot clash scene (when that dude's running with the cube) was so well done. @ Hobbster: Eish, that's surprising (and understandably frustrating)that UIQ isn't supported and the other 2 common OS's are.

@ama,if you talking about that scene where that transformer roller skates through the bus with flames, then that's my fav too.
