@ Kryptik,
What a motley crew of vintage cellphones in those pics; the 8110 Matrix phone brings back a few memories.
@ Gucci,
One more day to get through before your hols start. Howzabout some more N80 pics over the next few weeks?

@ Gucci,
Yeah I'm pretty busy showing friends n' extended familyaround here, so although it's been great to get out to all these places, it is keeping us pretty busy..
A cellphone pic competition here? LOL, competition is always good to 'raise the standard', but I won't ever be miffed if you or anyone else here ends up taking better pics than me boet; if you do then good on you.
I try my best and that's good enough for me.
Good luck with enduring that assembly tomorrow, Gucci.

There is a first for everything, and today it was the following:
An old white lady threw in my petrol at a petrol station. She was older than 50,maybe even 60. I suspect an owner perhaps, but it was a strange happening for me.
Back to bed, took the day off to go shopping for our hopeful trip to Sabie, or at least, what is left of it. Might have to cancel, but if we don't we wont. I mean, last time i went there long tom pass was on fire, and a huge one for that. We drove through it, and after that i took the most stunning picture on the crappest cellphone camera of the billows of smoke versus the darkening sky of the setting sun. Black smoke with fire colouring it red, as well as the sunset. I want to see what damage was done there. So if we go, i will get some pictures.

R2999,00 Ok i got it in my sights then. Thanks for the info.I was going through the P990 thread just to see whats going on.Started from pg 1.Skipped 50 pg's.Nothing but people waiting for the phone to be released.Skipped another 50 pg's.People still waiting.Skipped to page 150,people still waiting and getting pissed.Went to pg 200,the phone finally been released in small numbers with delays here and there. Its incredible how they kept that thread going for 200 pages about a phone that nobody had.And when it finally did arrive you can imagine how gatvol everyone had gotten, with like a 10 month wait that i dont know if im going to bother reading the next 260 pages.

Now on pg 262 and still the same thing.people still waiting, phones been sent back, moaning, anger. What a happy thread. Its nice to have a thread dedicated to the phone you have to share tips and give advice. But this is just depressing me.I should have got the E61.Read around, very happy people.Very constructive threads.Lets see as i go through the pages if things brighten up.Its quite strange seen half the comments.i sometimes wonder if they speaking about the same phone as i have.

So how's everybody's Friday so far? Winter is here in full force, it's bitterly cold down here, at last my kinda weather
So did you guys manage to refuel without too much hassle? I had to visit 3 filling stations this morning before i hit the jackpot One full tank of unleaded later and i was able to terrorize those colleagues who hadn't filled up, lol. Told them about the incredibly long queues for fuel a la Zim Hasn't reached those proportions here yet, but if the strike continues for much longer it's bound to happen. |

@ gola, hang in there with Heroes. It gets good. It might help to also read the comics, which you can get through wikipedia somewhere, but they are almost 30 megs a pop. But i really enjoyed the show. Cant wait for the next reason.
So yeah, all is fine, we are off to the burnt up Sabie area tomorrow till monday, will get a lot of pictures of all the fire damage. Maybe even a smoking picture from God's window of the destruction. Will be breathtaking and sad at the same time.
Will maybe post, depending how bored i am. |
