That elongated circular thing at the front of the device ruins the design, whatever it is, it's ugly as hell 
Back design isn't that inspiring as well , if this is indeed honami I wonder if there really is a 2/3" sensor inside it given its thickness  I hope whoever posted that spyshot wont lose his job, This looks to me like some classified info being leaked into public.

@razec - you mean around the speaker grill?? i think that's part of the plastic coversheet.. not the phone itself. the plastic cover sheet is still on it as you can see from the lil tab
and that leather back is most definitely a case/cover of some kind. not the true back of the device. just remember.. this could still be a prototype. certain things could change. but overall, i like it. some actual studio pics and it will look amazing i think.

i think it a plastic applied to hide the sony logo, on which they have applied plastic sheet, so the air around the plastic on top of the logo seems circular.... so it isn't a design fault..  |

Is that so, oh thanks guys I havr no problem with the back design, just that I'm worried about the sensor size given the alleged details about its thickness. The camera will make or break this device for me

Never posted in here but have been reading for a while regarding Honami, but just wanted to point out that i think it's clear to see that the shot of the back of the phone show that it has a matt black cover on it (especially visible if you look at the sides which are black and not the silver colour they are in the other pics).
I think it looks like a nice phone, but I'm a bit disappointed in it being slightly bigger than the Z... I was hoping for equal size or smaller because the Z is a pretty big phone itself. I'm not that fussed with the camera and especially don't need interchangeable lenses. |

The back looks like a case. The sides don't match up. What's interesting though, is the fact that the "case" has the camera, IR blaster and LED flash embedded. Perhaps the case is designed to show you a fake camera. |
