That would be the developers software... It will not be like that in the final version.
there's quite a few fun things to do with the debug SW |

Ninjaturtle,
would the phone not recognise the sim at all in your opinion? I was hoping that it would still work for 2g services such as voice, even if 3g services such as video calling did not?
Thanks |

That depends,
Some operators block their net for 3G SIM's in 2G phones.
I Can't use my 3G SIM in a 2G phone in sweden, but the same SIM in the same 2G phone works perfectly in denmark. |

I suppose the only way to be sure is to try it for myself with an actual handset. Im pretty sure a z1010 would work but i like the look of the K700, especially the radio function!

I think itīs strange that you canīt zoom when in vga resolution? |

Not at all, as you can see zooming is nothing else than scaling a picture to VGA resolution. The extended mode is same as 2xVGA zoom,
hopefully with better quality than ordinary zoom.
VGA = 640x480 * 2 = 1280x960 = Extended
QVGA = 320x240 * 2 = 640x480 = VGA
QQVGA = 160x120 * 4 = 640x480 = VGA
