Well, I think that they should make more mid-end smartphones, not only high-end, because I don't think that everyone needs a 4" screen and a 1GHz CPU. By mid-end smartphones I mean the android-vivaz that we all (including me) expected to see. |

True, they will not be able to run away from money making mid end smartphones like the Vivaz and the X10 minis. The point is that the A? platform has a role to play by supplementing the mid end smartphones.
It's not what you do or even how you do it but in what state of mind you do it: Dups! 2009 |

I also want to draw attention for the phonebook !
I had P990i for around 3 years and I was so much satiesfied with it
except few points , on of them the size
So I got my VIVAZ around a week ago , every thing is great except the phone book !
it became smaller in view !
the screen size is bigger and so is the resoultion rather than the old P990i
I'm trying to find an application to help
not mentioning also the contact pic , so small !
must think of a serious upgrade for its VIVAZ or the next Symbian |

@rss- If people want a smartphone of the same size, they shall go for the Mini.A no brainer. |

Random question while popping in for a couple of minutes, but does anyone know this? Besides the Satio successor will SE be bringing out any other symbian, preferably qwerty as well? I'm asking cause Symbian has caught my eye with a couple of uses and it would suit me a lot for a Symbian with qwerty made by SE, besides the Vivaz Pro. |

True. But If Android can be tailored to work as simple as it is on the X10 Mini's, what is the point of another touch operated dumb OS? SE can make any phone from low-end to high-end using Android. There is no need for a dumb OS. |

I feel as long as they keep the A? platform on mid end phones then it has a long life ahead. A lot of people still need those kinds of phones.
SE just needs to keep the three smartphone OSs high end and ultra high end then they'll manage.
Android and other platforms can cater for the mid-end market. The A? platform is useless unless it would be as good as the Bada by Samsung. |

Is it not about time SE forgot about Symbian, with the X10 X10 mini and pro, they have some great phones, that work fast, have any amount of apps available, glourious OS unlike the symbian system, that seems to lag soo much, yes there are apps available, but most are to buy, and those that are free are either cut down lite versions, or useless. SE have tried hard to add to the basic system, but the problem is the OS its self, which is not always user freindly. Things are not always in a logical place, or you are unable to access what you want.
With Android Bada Iphone and even windows, Symbian is outdated, and should be dropped by SE.
To see the Satio with Android on it would be something I would buy. Same features but with an OS that does it favours rather than hurts it.
Funny how all Symbian phones I have used have GPS issues, yet Android has none, infact my X10 locks on very quick in even the worst conditions, yet the Satio N97 N95 all have to be outside and even then take an age to find a lock.
Come on SE dump the Symbian OS and do everyone with a vivaz and satio a favour, and create away for them to upgrade to Android.

Is it confirmed that Satio2 will be Symbian-operated? No, no way! I will not buy Satio2 if it is true.
