@Platia my touchscreen stops sometimes too, but it's always fixed with a restart.

Yeah it's under warranty, I will have to take it back. SEUS isn't helping at all.

Terrible, terrible time to break though. Right near Christmas. If it had broken 2 weeks earlier I could have taken it back under ELF (Early Life Failure) and have it replaced on the spot but I don't know how long I will have to wait now...

I have no idea how it's meant to work, but I've tapped everywhere and it doesn't respond

I've also found that the backlight doesn't turn off when the phone is slid shut, which kills battery life

Very unimpressed :-/

Yeah I've gone in the touch menu and tapped in the touch test but nothing seems to respond

It's completely broken

I don't know whether it's a hardware or a software problem, but considering the amount of things I've done on the software side to try and fix it I'm leaning on Hardware. Hopefully I can get it resolved quickly after Christmas but Sony Ericsson service here doesn't have the best reputation

No, actually he live in iraq, thats where i live, and here we don't have warranty for hardware, the warranty is limited for FW only, thats why am about to change my mind and might take the satio instead.
he got to leave the slide open inorder to make the light goes off, that SUCKS!!.

Aino is fun, even more than satio (in my opinion) but this problem is the only thing that force me not to buy the aino .

That sounds exactly like the problem I have, I have to keep my phone open to ensure the battery lasts longer then 12 hours :-/
