in my opinion, this is one of the finest phones se has EVER build - it seems to be flawless - which is amazing, considering the lifetime of the phone

Great picture!
I got mine on the way. Only thing I think it misses is the play/pause button which SE refuses to put on any recently released phones that's not Walkman branded, unfortunately. |

Ok, I think there is something wrong with the camera on my T650. I went outside and took a bunch of pictures today to test camera performance. When I came home and uploaded them to my PC, every single picture is *very* blurry on the left half side. They all appear blurry in the same exact parts, too. I tested a few macro shots here at home of my keyboard, and those came out just fine. So either i'm doing something wrong, or the camera is busted.
EDIT: And yes, before anyone asks, I cleaned the lens before use.

I'll post up pictures in a bit.
One other question, but does anyone's phone actually show where it was made? I can't find that info on the box, nor on the inside of the phone where the IMEI is. There is a manufacture date, but not the place of manufacture. I find that pretty odd. |

Ok, here are some pictures that I took. The first three shots are taken outdoors with a lot of light. I am quite good at holding my hand steady when taking a shot, but even so, these pictures have a shutter speed of 1/800s anyway, so there shouldn't be much if any motion blur.
I've reduced the images by 50% for size constraints, but even here, the blurring is quite noticible. Notice how the left hand side is blurry for all the pictures, yet the right side - especially the upper right is nice and sharp.
No matter what settings I use (autofocus or infinite), or how I take the picture (with shutter button, or center "ok" button), the pictures look like this.
I also tried taking a macro shots. This one happens to be indoors in darkness, using the flash. But this one comes out sharp everywhere!
I just don't get it. I've taken very good shots with other camera phones before, so I don't think its me. I'm guessing there is something wrong with the focus or the optics. Should I exchange the phone?
Btw, I just felt I should add that the colors from this phone are amazing. These shots are NOT retouched in any way except for sizing them by 50%. I would have to say that the color reproduction blows the K800/K850 out of the water. If only the optics worked right :/

could be a software fault of the autofocus function, but this is just a wild guess - let a sony ericsson serice center have a look |

I just got my T650i this afternoon.
Pros:
- The slim format and design is just amazing!
- Camera has little noise reduction and therefore you get a lot of details in the pictures!
Cons:
- Easy to get blurry pictures i low light environments (w or w/o LED).
I've solved this problem some by continuously holding the button fully pressed until saving begins. I guess if you release the button immediately the camera moves some. If I hold it with both hands I get al lot less blurry shots.
- No play pause button for the media player like the K810i
