 | Hi Bav,
The only thing that kept me away from BB's was the lack of 3G/HSDPA and Wifi all on one device, with the Bold all these issues have been addressed and then some.

From what i have read and someone correct me if I'm wrong you can use a BB for personal E-Mail it doesn't have to be just corporate E-Mail running on a company server.

I will definitely be looking into either the Bold or maybe even the new Touchscreen BB which will be a Voda exclusive before deciding which one suits me best. But these two devices i find far more interesting than anything else so far announced by a long way.

 Marc

 | Hi Bav,
You know what they say though once you go Crackberry you never go back to anything else!. I must admit the video of the Bold even though it isn't a final release firmware looks mighty impressive no lag or or freezes or delays that i could see. Not sure the Touchscreen version is really for me or not but comparing both the Bold and Touch screen versions with recently announced devices from other manufactures these really impress a lot more IMO.

 | Ha ha yeah I have heard many say that.
I like the idea of a touch screen one but im heavy on message so i need proper tactile keys. The Bold looks awesome in theis respect. Dont get me wrong i love my ipod touch but this seems to tick all my boxes.

I just registered over at crackberry aswell. You should too! I laid a few questions out I have i the hope Kevin can answer them.

But yeah as you say the OS looks amazing. I have always been semi tempted in the past but little things like WIFI and a camera have always held me back, not any more though.

Looks like I will have to take out a BB data plan when I get one of these but I dont mind spending a bit extra as I will have unlimited email and data so play with. Ive always wanted push email but my phones in the past just didnt have the battery to cope.

 | Hi Bav and all,
I have already registered at Crackberry.com i thought that was compulsory to own a BB. I have even found 4 apps i want to buy just got to wait for the Bold to be available now as i am 99.9% certain it will be my next device.

Am i the only one that keeps getting flashes of Star Trek as i am waiting to boldly go where i haven't been before. LOL.

 | Hi Bav,
Nothing earth shattering so far but,

 BBSmart Alarms Pro
 EmPower instaspell
 SnapScreen
 MWallet

Just need to wait for the Bold to hit and then try and sort out the best deal as Voda aren't showing any of the new tariffs as yet for BB's. So not sure if i will stay on my current tariff with 500mb Data and have to add £15 for BB mail which will suck IMO. As i will find it hard to pay £180 per Year just for push E-Mail when i currently have it for free and even when the Seven Beta program ends it is still only £65 per year. 02 have a £15pm Data only deal but their 3G/HSDPA speeds make it pointless IMO.

If i can get it on Voda for £35pm or less it's not a problem with unlimited E-Mail and a reasonable Browsing allowance otherwise it will need a rethink on my part.

 Marc

 | Hi Bav,
Sorry but after having to threaten the Legal department at Orange with a summons to get a situation resolved with my P910 it will be a cold day in hell before i ever have an Orange contract.

Even if Voda are not the cheapest they currently offer the best HSDPA speeds and since last November i have found they give a really good service so will most probably stick with them. As although the last two contracts with them where just to get the N93 and N95 8GB early they are now my only contract and Network of choice.

 Marc

 | Dogmann and Bav,
If you guys are really looking to go down the BB route, then you should look at 02 for the tariffs or even T-Mobile. I dont know what they are like for generic phoned but on the BB Data they are by far the best.

Support sadly is poor generally for BB in the UK but you might as well go for the best thats available.

Marc, as for the Empower spell, BBs have built in spell check from the Curve BB and newer. You might not need it....

As you are well aware, there is plenty of help available but if you have more specific questions you can pm me.
