nothing in particular... I just got some weeks ago a brand new R520  , I'm a sysadmin for a cell phones company in Argentina and one of stock guys gave a new sealed-in-a-box r520 as a temporary sustitute for my good old TDMA Nokia which broke, like in the US most of the cellphones in Argentina are either TDMA/DAMPS or CDMA/X, the R520 CE were shipped here in 2001 when we started migrating to GSM, and none were sold to the public, they were given only to empoyees for testing purposes.
BTW it's an amazing phone for being 3 years old, although mine is so new that shines

Dont tell me about it, its the best fone i ever had. Use it usually as second fone. Pls post some pix of it in the ///Galleries thread. Thx

bobafett: I have a couple of questions, I have another R520m which says in the screen "Data" although I can make phone calls and all, I tried with a reset but I don't know some password it is asking me, perhaps I'll leave it like that as long as it works. Any idea how to make a "master-reset" or factory defaults?
this one has S.W. version R1J
and the newer one I'm "proudly" using right now has R2K which I suspect it's more up to date, what if I update it to the last software revision? do I get new features or bug fixes ? |

Go to next incoming call and set VOICE to make data disappear. R1j and r2k sounds me u have an r520mc. The last fw is r4a008. Congrat for both beauties, pls send some pix of them in the /// thread. Thx. Any other questions?

Thank you ! It worked ! I will post pics for sure although i dont have a digicam i will use my web cam instead . I do have more questions ;) but for now its ok .

U can find some in the /// thread, somewhere. Or do the search with the keywords on the web hours long as i did it once. I remember only one add, think it was 'stokvisdaemon.nl' or something like that.

Hi! Guys do you how can i fix this R520m bug:
The snooze function is weird. I move my hand over the speaker it's ok, but if i keep the distance the alarm stops after a couple of rings. This problem started in a month after i bought the phone.

If u set it before a call not, otherwise it asks u think ca every 2 mins if u wanna continue or not.
