@ Jojo:
It was about 10:15am. You can just make out the time on the clock, on the far right building.

Well Jojo, Papa Wanqa's off to bed now. It's nearly 2am here and we're out sight-seeing with the in-laws later this morning and probably for most of the day.
Hope you have a great Thursday ahead of you, matey.
G'night.

And on and on and . . . Congratulations to ama and brix. A bit late but here it is . @Ama I know is 'non of my business' but you are spending a big 'chunk' of 24H in front of your Pc. I bothered to check your 'reaction' time for the last few weeks and I come to the conclusion you must be monitoring this tread almost on a hourly basis ! Also on many a occasion you are up till early morning. Don't get me wrong - you are doing a great job in here but at what personal cost? A few years back I was just like you (not in Esato thou) and my 'personal/private life' was in shambles. The worst thing was I did not want to accept the reality and looking for excuses. In the end it was ways more difficult to get unhooked then making up to my 'real world friends'. I could not do it on my own thou After I got out of it all, I decided to help anyone who I think or see is were I was. Please don't answer me/this post but answer yourself. Sincere greatings from Jeffrey's .

Haibo Dr.Phil, it's called multi-tasking
Some twit had the bright idea of trying to drive his Beemer THROUGH an elevated traffic circle instead of AROUND it :-| hence this endless traffic jam in which i'm stuck... |

Oooh the RS4!!! I was " racing" one on the highway, my Gti VS CLK500 VS Dolphine M3 VS RS4!!
Wow!!! Those things all move!!! Then they all took the same offramp and left me alone on the highway! But that RS4 just kills!!

Does anybody here use some kind of "non-standard" charger for their spare battery/ies? I've seen a generic type of charger which has adjustable pins which one positions so as to make contact with the battery terminals, has an indicator light to show when the battery has been charged, etc. Was wondering whether those things are any good..

@ Mario,
I will give a brief answer. Kryptik summed it up pretty well though. I do a LOT of school admin during the evenings and other programmes that I use daily (like Active Primary and Easiteach running). It's obviously dead easy to just minimise Esato and refresh the page between all the work, for example.
We're also both very much night-owls, athough we haven't perfected this dark art (excuse pun) as much as some others like Francois. Franc, I still dunno how you get away with such little sleep, dude.
Quality of life? If I wasn't able to multi-task, my life might well be in a shambles (which it certainly isn't); I have nothing to prove to anybody suffice to say that I still manage Priority 1 (the mrs), then work, doing other necessary things, etc.
I'll leave it at that, BUT I sincerely do appreciate your tone of concern, Mario.

You're so lucky boet, those are great programmes! We're still using the B&P programme here though (Ballpoint and Paper ). I have a fair stack of admin myself, being stuck with 6 learning areas, but after having been in the game for nigh on 20 years one learns how to operate at maximum efficiency. I'm sure Wanqa will agree that the old adage of "A stitch in time saves nine" is most appropriate, particularly in our profession. The odd bits of admin work which we manage to squeeze in during the 8-3 workday do really add up to a significant amount of after-hours time being saved. |

Kryptik, you're so right, boet. I just wish more colleagues around here didn't take all that we have at our disposal so 'for granted'.
Now here's a fantastic site for 'onnies'. There's tons of free downloadable resources for all subjects here which you can utilise in SA as well:
www.primaryresources.co.uk
The sites below may require a decent internet connection for a lot of the activities and resources, but again they are all free and great to use:

Care of www.theregister.co.uk :
'Apple Shares Dive After Disappointing iPhone Activation Numbers are Posted
Disappointing initial activation numbers for the iPhone are to blame for Apple shares declining over 6% in Tuesday trading, and reports from AT&T of a 'significant decline' in demand for the device at retail locations are not helping the stock gain traction.
Disproving analyst projections of up to 500,000 units being sold on the first two days the iPhone hit store shelves, which also formed the last two days of the second financial quarter, AT&T has reported that just 146,000 customers activated an iPhone during the period.
Since the announcement of the iPhone at Macworld in January, Apple shares surged more than 40% to an all-time high on Monday of US$144.18, but lost $8.81 per share by close of trading Tuesday after AT&T's second quarter earnings report was issued. The market will have to wait until third quarter results come out later this year to gauge the performance of the iPhone over a longer period.'
