Not too impressed with the 7260... Then again I'm not a fan of clamshells. Still I'd like to know what the 7610 would go for...love the design.. Just interested not that I'm planning on ditching my precious.

@ brix,
the 7260 isn't a clamshell, but the 7270 is. You can get them new here for about £180 new, with a little haggling.
@ Tahir,
so the lesser-specced 7260, with its vga camera and lack of bluetooth, has more appeal than the 1 megapixel, bluetooth-equipped, expandable memory 7610?
I presume it is down to price and specific market demand, or did you also mean the 7270?

Sorry, I meant the 7610 for about £180, not the 7270.
The 7260 goes for about £160 sim-free, and about £129 branded, at the moment.
Watch the prices drop dramatically on the websites I've mentioned on previous posts, in the coming months.

My bad folks thought you were refering to the Symbian clamshell, knew it was a 72xx.

Just my opinion, but perhaps Vodacom realised that the 6630 is a bit of a waste of time if it's a 3G handset without an integrated video calling camera on the front..surely the 6680, only a few months behind the 6630 but with the video calling camera, would make more sense to market. As I mentioned in a previous post regarding this, you CAN do video calling with the 6630 when using its stationary docking port, but what's the point if the 6680 has all this without the docking port video calling restrictions?
Fair enough, one can argue that not everyone would want video calling, more for data etc., but the fact remains the 6630 is more limited when it comes to video calling.
The 6680 should be out soon in SA...it's been out here in the UK for a few weeks now. It just seems a more sensible option. Now, how long before SA gets the N70?...

The reason Vodacom will not have the 6630 on its network is because it is not compatible on its network and it does not have a built in camera for video calls.Nokia 6680 will be available on Vodacom in May 05.

One thing I like about Nokia, although I'm not a user that in SA their models are available quite soon after their European launches. Wish SE would release their phones sooner in SA...as things stand we might be getting the K750 around July/Aug.
