@* cayetano had a tumor, okay, so his body fights off this tumor with everything his body has. when he had a transplant, he had immunosuppressive medications to prevent rejection of this liver transplanted to him. immunosuppresive medications stop our immune system, this means our body is like an all-you-can eat thing for bacterias and other foreign bodies that attack us. now the cancer is one of these things. now immunosuppresants plus the already-weakened body of the patient contributed to the speedy complications brought on by the tumor. hehehe, how's that?

@ arnoldc neural tissue which includes the brain and spinal cord does not regenerate, although this is the main thrust in alzheimer's and multiple sclerosis treatment research, finding out how to make it regenerate. @crowing right on the money.:-)

Maybe the family has already been presented of the repercussions should they decide to go on with the transplant for the doctors to have acted on good faith. A lingering question would be, why didn't the doctors foresee such a likely event in the first place? A lot was at stake in the process, money and life being in the top tier. But I don't think the medical practicioners fell short on thoroughly studying the patient thus acting on haste.

@scythe, to add to that, how come suddenly he had Abdomen Cancer and was not brought up when he had a successful liver transplant operation? Was it a cover up? Sana mag-release ng Autopsy report.
By the way, got an email copy ng HP5 in Word format! Pero sabi nga ni Master GOwin, mas maganda pa rin yung you turn the pages mas feel mo daw.

parang his diseased liver was a "clear and present/urgent danger"

@Mari - sorry about my subpar performance last night. hindi ko akalain na naka-E ka pala. talagang hindi ako tatagal ng 10pm to 10am. sugat sugat na nga, nag-mistulang tocino, sobrang hapdi, tiniis ko pero di talaga kayang ituloy. dont worry, i have something new planned for tonight, and it involves leather, some battery-operated gadgets, whipped cream, ice cubes, hand-cuffs, ceiling mirrors and close-circuit monitors. uminom ka na ng red bull na may halong tanduay. tapos sundan mo ng E (at Korgivit-E). yari ka mamaya (literally and figuratively). game na! |
