How is that a hint related to smartphones?
I think it's more related to a camera software thing.. Time related software thing.. Or time of flight camera? I am so bad at this lol. |

A smartwatch would be connected to a phone? Dunno, just IV and "time" made me think watch, as the last was Smartwatch 3.

Five days and nothing.
Only confirmed infos are SD865 and 4K screen.
Sony must have created a Cerburus version of Aibo to guard all stuff.

Android next predicted 16 pixel binning!! Isn't it very similar to multi shift pixel technology??
https://petapixel.com/2017/11[....]w-pixel-shift-feature-a7r-iii/
And also label as Xperia 1 ultimate!

Just because one brand will have something, few sites suppose xperia will have as well.
4x4 is only for video. Who's going to take a 3,3MP photo?
P40 Pro will take something like 13 or 14MP default, than 1080p videos with this mode.

pixel binding =/= pixel shift
in pixel binding with 48MP will take 1 photo and with that data compose brighter photos of resolution:
2x2 - > 12MP (4x less)
3x3 - > 5,33MP (9x less)
4x4 - > 3MP (16x less)
in pixel shift multiple pictures are taken, each time shifting exposure frame to another set of subpixel, so 48MP matrix will give you 48MP photos, but with much better details. Trick is that it require more time/processing:
4x photos -> 192MP of raw data to process
16x photos -> 768MP of raw data to process
Each of this technologies is mostly software, the same as multisecond exposures, yet we don't see it implemented in all phones. The only thing that explains it, is fact that most customers don't care for it. If something can not be instant (implemented in hardware, or just plainly fast) less than 1% of customers will use it. I can see myself setting tripod and taking 1s exposure night photos, yet 99% of my photos are point-and-shoot and that are the photos I am most likely to show to other people. If something will not be frequently used, why steal precious time of software team to implement it, for something looking good only on paper.

well, I will just randomly guess until we get to know more lol.
20, 17, Ultimate, 60, 26
I think this info related to only the camera part.
20x hybrid zoom
17mm
60mm
26mm
Ultimate... maybe ultimate sensor? ultimate ToF?
s6, aj, 1.8.1, llg, fds, 16dp
s6 -> s + 6 characters -> s master
aj -> audio jack
1.8.1 -> I think this might be the weight (181g) or phone size (181mm)
llg -> no idea, is this relate to display gamma correction?
fds -> front dual speaker, please.
16dp -> dp? depth? bit depth? whatever lol
IVANW L-IXXIIIIV
- no idea
3C-PD, 79, Ultimate AGAIN (just to mess with you guys), llg AGAIN, 4K
3C-PD -> I hope this has something with an updated version of Power Delivery (like one on Galaxy Note 10)
79 -> ....phone size again ? (79mm)
Ultimate -> X1 Ultimate
llg -> maybe, not just the gamma of the display but also video recording??
4K -> I'm quite sure that the Xperia successor will have 4K display

Haha how about ultimate focusing speed? Or ultimate auto focusing accuracy? There's this new technology about on chip lens which focuses very fast and accurate :

If the screen is 6.8" then ....
Screen would be 3mm wider and 7mm taller than X1's screen.
Bezels of X1 are about 16,3mm combined.
They would have to trim 6mm to make the 16,8 cm tall of the first leak.

even if the screenshot is real, GFX's screen information is often wrong.
So 6.5-6.6 inch can be still correct size. |

Sony is running out of DRAM, the priority is PS5, so it is probably that this year's Xperia will be affected.
Features that use DRAM:
Super Slow Motion
Predictive Capture |

I think that's a good sign. Mobile always had to fend for itself, now it's just part of the brand as a whole.
