Raider camera driver for K790, K800 and K810 (v6.6.5) |

Hello I´ve been on holidys shooting only with my k810 and riderski´s driver. I took about 500 pictures and I´ve noticed that most of them came out with lack of contrast and too bright, especially the daylight ones. I also think that landscape pictures are not so good either.
Apart from that, good driver.
Thanks. |

It's a SUPERMODE driver, so you get BEST results when you use manual settings.

photos taken with this driver need 5 - 10 % more contrast
I know this from long time guys but what else I can do if contrast in SE phones isn't acting like real contrast function?
left: normal shot, right: max contrast shot
open GIMP or any other gfx editing tool and then try to recreate left pic to right pic with contrast and brightness controls only. good result is with: +80 brightness and +60 contrast. as you can see in "contrast" by SE is more brightness than contrast ok, you will say: then reduce brightness. well, good tip but brightness is right now at minimum level... no comment...
I agreed with you. Indeed, I use PhotoDJ to adjust contrast and it really does good job. Also, higher compression after saving. |

very nice photos! raider 6.3.3 in iso80 not available! How to come true?
thx! ISO80 is not available in manual ISO function but it's available in auto mode when you're not using manual ISO. I'm a fan of auto mode

thx! for sure your camera is fine and you can do better shots than me! I bet there are a lot of beautiful places in Macedonia, I would like to visit Matka canyon and Pelister National Park. well, maybe someday

you're facing in typical K800 camera issues - weak contrast and overexposure. contrast cannot be improved, not in driver. overexposure isn't also driver fault - exposure time is calculated by firmware. overexposure is complicated problem, however it can be quite simple resolved for most situations:
1. phone's LCD screen is darker than picture will be. if you're looking at LCD and picture looks fine remember that final picture won't be so fine, it will be brighter
2. exposure time before snapshot is a bit lower than exposure time of final picture (it will be a bit brighter)
3. efficient use of autoexposure lock with EV lock function or with half pressed shutter key
number 3 is gold key for "ideal" shots in hard situations
normal situation
strong light of the setting sun
bright sky (not that much), a little overexposure which isn't important in this case
hard situation, very bright sky and dark ground, sun almost in camera frame
another hard situation, a lot of dark and bright spots, camera can't decide what to do. result: poor contrast and faded colors
