Mine is R4A008. I believe this the latest. The previous one was R3A022.

Last week a went to a service point to upgrade the firmware of my T39m. The version is now R4A008. I noticed some improvements.
Someone said there will be no more firmware releases for this phone.
Is this true? If so, why not, are all bugs addressed in this latest release? If there will be newer firmware releases, how will I know when a new version is released?
I noticed a significant improvement with this firmware version when I use the phone in the carkit. Also the retry option seems to work fine now. Is there nowhere a changelog where i can find what has been resolved between r3a and r4a008?

yes it's true.... T39 is discontinued in production, as well as R520 which uses the same firmware... eveything must come to and end sometime |

I had my t39 sw upgraded from R3A to R4A 6 months ago. The menu and sms response seems much faster after the upgrade.
